Black screen -- MTG: Duels of the Planeswalkers
Hello! I've tried to port these following games: -Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers -Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 ...but to no avail. My rig is Macbook Air 2010 2Gb and it runs Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. I've tried to use Wineskin with 1.3.37 engine and 2.5.3 wrapper. The results on AppDB are positive -- the games are running and everything

Reading Text Files with RODBC
I'm thoroughly stumped. I've been playing with RODBC and wanted to see if I could retrieve data from text files using this package as well (for the most part, this is an intellectual exercise, but occasionally I do get data files large enough in CSV format RODBC could be helpful) . I set up a DNS called "Text Files" and then ran the following code in R > library(RODBC)

tough file
Here's a tough file to encode well at 128 kbit/s average: https://www.idrive.com/miyaguch/files/Shared/?curr-node=8821135668693434409 "duel.wav" It is the first few seconds from "Duel of the Fates" off of the Star Wars I soundtrack. Vorbis beta 4 at 128 produces artifacts that sound like some tones are beating with others. I identified the Vorbis encode 16 of 16

Moderators for the 2017 LLVM Developers' Mtg Needed!
The 2017 LLVM Developers’ Meeting relies on volunteers to keep things running smoothly. Moderators are critical to this as they keep speakers on track and facilitate Q&A after the talk. I’m looking for community members who would be attending specific talks anyway, to volunteer to moderate the session. If you are interested in volunteering, please respond to this email with your first and

Lotus Notes 4.6.4 doesn't load, RH 7.1
Hello all. I am new to this list and Linux in general. I am working my way out from under the dependancies of MS; however, I still need to use some windoz products at the office. On RH 7.1, I have Wine installed (thank you Codeweavers and other good Wine folks) and have gotten most of the windoz apps to work. The only one I am having problems with is Lotus Notes. It starts to load and then

pci sata raid card
Using centos 4.2. Trying to install pci sata raid card, Pacific Digital QM-4300R10. Raid card box reads that it supports linux. raid software has rhel 4.0 dd image. I write to floppy and use linux dd to "try" install drivers on my centos 4.2. I see the card in the list that centos gives me after loading the drivers, but when I try to use them, it doesn't do anything. Nothing works.

[LLVMdev] LLVM Dev Mtg
I saw Tanya's note about this year's LLVM developers' meeting. It would be interesting if the time could coincide with IDF 2009 (Sep. 22-24). I'm sure some LLVM folks would be interested in attending IDF as well. Perhaps hold the LLVM conference the day before or after IDF? -Dave

Showing hotness in LLVM optimization remarks using AutoFDO sampling profile data?
Hello! (+cc Adam Nemet, since he presented on optimization remarks at LLVM Dev Mtg 2016) I have a large C++ program, which I am compiling using a sampling profile generated via perf and AutoFDO. I'd like to use this profile in order to show the hotness of each code path that is displayed in the new optimization remarks viewer tool ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qq0q1hfzidg). It seems,

2016 LLVM Dev Mtg: Moderators needed!
All, I'm needing volunteers to help moderate the sessions of the LLVM Developers' Meeting. All you need to do is introduce the speaker, make sure the speaker stays on time, and run Q&A at the end (run a microphone, select people, etc). Its a pretty easy job, but critical for our meeting to run smoothly. Lightning talks are slightly different in that you will moderate each 5 minute

should we have IR intrinsics for integer min/max?
Hi - The answer to this question may help to resolve larger questions about intrinsics and vectorization that were discussed at the dev mtg last week, but let's start with the basics: Which, if any, of these is the canonical IR? ; ret = x < y ? 0 : x-y define i32 @max1(i32 %x, i32 %y) { %sub = sub nsw i32 %x, %y %cmp = icmp slt i32 %x, %y ; cmp is independent of sub %sel = select
