I have need to use the old network-scripts and not NetworkManager. I did yum install network-scripts, I have ifcfg-eth0 set for ONBOOT=yes but it is not starting on boot. What have I missed ? Jerry

Workaround for Ubuntu which uses this script to try to start a systemd service. That won't work because systemd is not used inside the appliance. Hi, I had the problem that 'ipconfig' as DHCP client in Debian-squeeze could not get DHCP Offer reply from the built-in DHCP server of the cheap route that I have. The name of the router is 'MegaBitGear TE4571E' which I got at contract of ADSL Internet access service in 2009.
