additional dialogs and functionality.

Announcement: Markdown-0.1 for PmWiki
Okay, it's pretty alpha, but it is a start. I have published
"Markdown," which is a recipe that helps integrate Markdown syntax
with PmWiki.[1] My goal is that, when finished, there will be
something pretty close to a PHP-based wiki that relies on Markdown
syntax.
I have been involved with PmWiki for a couple years now. It has
matured into a very potent, customizeable wiki engine.

Deducer 0.4-1 and JGR 1.7-2 released
Hi All,
I would like to announce the release of Deducer 0.4-1 and JGR 1.7-2 to CRAN. The updates should be propagating through the mirrors over the next few days. On the Deducer side we have a number of nice improvements:
1. A new Text Field Widget for plug-ins is included, which is better suited for entering/displaying numeric and short string fields than TextAreaWidget.
2. A new Object Chooser

Deducer and Contingency Tables
Is there a way to use Deducer to analyze contingency table data that is only
available in a row-by-column summary form (not a data frame)?
Thanks. Jim Watkins

error in Deducer in 1-m: m is missing
I have two macs both running OS 10.6.8. One has JGR 1.7-9 and the other
1.7-11. When I run 'descriptives' from the analysis menu on the same data
set on both machines. It runs as expected on 1.7-9 but give the error
message in the header in version 1.7-11. Other analysis procedures seem to
run fine in both. Whgy?

Announcement: Markdown-0.2 for PmWiki
Announcing a new release of the PmWiki Markdown extension.[1] This
release introduces an improvement in page rendering, examples of
syntax,[2] and better support for Atx (up from none). I have also
established a page to help keep interested parties informed of
changes, to include a discussion group.[3] There are still problems
with loose lists and blockquotes, but this is a 0.2 release. The

Markdown and Wikis
I would like to have a wiki that uses Markdown as the markup
language (or something very close), I've currently used PmWiki
and I really like it but there are some problems with using
Markdown so I'm interested to see if there is an alternative
that works better for me.
I've looked at wiki matrix and searched for and found the
following list

JGR/Deducer Installation
Hi,
Sorry if this is to wrong mailing list. In that case, please point me
to correct mailing list.
Please also excuse rather long mail - I am not sure what piece of
information would be useful for anybody who could help me.
Couple of days back I had put a query about box-plots using GUI. I
got some excellent suggestions. One of them was to use JGR/Deducer.
It worked quite well for my needs.
