Function from ecdf to ccdf
Dear all, I would like to calculate the complementary cumulative distribution function. As it is known, the ccdf is the 1-ecdf(X)==1-F(x). (From ?ecdf help is shown that ecdf returns a function which is the F(x) I would like to use that function inside my function and after call curve (which accepts function as input). Create weird type of sequences
Dear all, I would like to create the following sequence of numbers 1 2 2 3 3 3 3 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 4 and so on (actually I double the number of same elements).... the reason is that I want then to feed the sequence above to  tapply(myVector, weirSeq, FUN = mean) and then average over those... Empirical CDF
Good day everyone, I want to assess the error when fitting a Gram-Charlier CDF to some data 'ws', that is, I want to calculate: Err = |ecdf(ws) - GCh_ser(ws)| The problem is, I cannot get the F(x) values from the ecdf. Dear Group, I am using the ecdf function as follows: cawa.cdp <- ecdf(cawaocc$LEFF80) summary(cawa.cdp) Empirical CDF: 223 unique values with summary Min. 1st Qu. Median Mean 3rd Qu.
