Hi all, I have some graphs where the values on the X and Y axes are by default in exponent form like 2e+05 or 1.0e+07. Is it possible to make them in a more readable form like 10M for 1.0e+07 or 200K for 2e+05? Thanks and Regards, - vihan

Doing Mathematica Quantile[] function in R
Hi all, I am an R newbie trying to do some calculations I do in Mathematica in R on a GNU/Linux system. The main thing I am interested in doing is taking a 0.999 quantile on a data set in a file who's data is normally distributed, say foo.csv. e.g in Mathematica if I have something like this : a=Import["foo.csv"] b=Transpose[a][[1]] Quantile[b,0.999] In R I can load all the data

[LLVMdev] indirectbr and phi instructions
Hi, How does the requirement that phi instructions have one value per predecessor basic block interact with indirectbr instructions? For instance, take the following code: L1: br i1 %somevalue, label %L2, label %L3 L2: %ret1 = i8* blockaddress(@myfunction, %L5) br label %L4 L3: %ret2 = i8* blockaddress(@myfunction, %L6) br label %L4 L4: %ret = phi i8* [%ret1, L2], [%ret2, L3]

Wine, Mac, and MDAC
Hi all, I have been searching around for the past few days for a way to emulate a MySQL database access program called ES2 (http://www.veracross.com/resources/es2-setup.html) on the Mac. I have been in contact with the developer about components that the program needs, but the communication has been slow from them, so I have been exploring on my own. I believe I am close to cracking the egg, but

How to run 3D Studio 7
I used crossover to install 3DSMax 7 in ubuntu. Unlike other versions, this one is known to run with wine (and crossover). Even though the software indeed is starting and running, I'm facing trouble with directx and my ATI-graphics-card now: The viewports just don't refresh (see screenshot below). Changing to OpenGL causes ubuntu to freeze. Software-rendering doesn't work either. Are

For example: When SIP/50 calls SIP/21, and the call is answered by SIP/21 I get: SIP/21-6735 answered SIP/50-b456 ${CHANNEL} will show me SIP/50-b456. Is there a parameter or a workaround to get the SIP/21-6735 part? Thanks. Assaf Benharoosh -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

I am trying to fit the generalised linear model for the negative binomial, but the results which come out are attached below. When we fit this model using few covariates, the model converge. Does it mean that this family is fitted differently from other glm? or the number of zeros in my response variable has a limiting factor? Thanks Bruno fit <- glm.nb(pfde~SEX+...., data=data1) Warning
