[PATCH 0/4] Add SUSE guest converter to virt-v2v
This is a new conversion module to convert SUSE Linux and openSUSE guests. The converter is based on the RedHat module, and should offer the same functionality on both SUSE and RedHat hosts. There are a few additional messages in this module, such as reporting of packages when installing through zypper or the local virt-v2v repo. These messages don't necessarily flow unless verbose switches

Hello, I've trying to move a 32bit CentOS 6.4 on VirtualBox to oVirt on Fedora 19 64bit via virt-v2v. The command I'm currently using is: virt-v2v -i libvirtxml -of qcow2 -oa sparse -o rhev -osd xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/usr/local/ovirt/exports --network ovirtmgmt /usr1/home/williams/Downloads/OpenAthens/VMs/OpenAthensLARuntime2.2.xml The exciting bit of the XML is: <devices>

[PATCH] virt-v2v: Convert RedHat.pm to Linux.pm - for SUSE support
This is a proposed patch which changes the RedHat.pm converter to Linux.pm, and adds support for SUSE guest conversion. This is first approach recommended by Matt Booth in: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2013-September/msg00076.html Some aspects of this patch still need additional testing, and a couple of changes are not foolproof (such as the lack of grub2 support in the menu.lst

[PATCH] Check for, and uninstall, VMware Tools installed from tarball
VMware Tools can be installed by RPM or from a tarball. We were only looking for the RPM. If it was installed by tarball, we would end up leaving it in place. If VMware Tools detects that it is not running on a VMware platform when it starts, it will clumsily try to uninstall itself, leading to misconfiguration. This patch looks for tarball-installed VMware Tools and uninstalls it. Fixes

Changing background in splom et al.
Context: Windows XP, R 1.8.1 I'm studying Venables-Ripley "MASS" book and having a go at the many examples in library MASS. The code I'm checking (from script ch04.R) now is ...... data(swiss) splom(~ swiss, aspect = "fill", panel = function(x, y, ...) { panel.xyplot(x, y, ...); panel.loess(x, y, ...) } ) which produces an agreable plot with a gray

Does anyone know how to get clipboard and mouse integration in Centos vm?
Hi, I am running a Centos 7 vm under FreeBSD, and it works very well now, with KDE installed from DVD iso. But there's a couple of things missing, which happens only with Centos vm (Virtualbox): 1) Despite clipboard sharing enabled, copy-paste just does not work between host and guest 2) Mouse integration does not work. So I have to repeatedly capture mouse manually both in the host

[PATCH net-next] virtio-net: enable multiqueue by default
We use single queue even if multiqueue is enabled and let admin to enable it through ethtool later. This is used to avoid possible regression (small packet TCP stream transmission). But looks like an overkill since: - single queue user can disable multiqueue when launching qemu - brings extra troubles for the management since it needs extra admin tool in guest to enable multiqueue - multiqueue

[PATCH 0/4] virt-v2v: Convert RedHat.pm to Linux.pm
In preparation for an upcoming patch which adds support for SUSE guest conversions, it makes sense to have an intermediate steps that changes the RedHat.pm converter into a more generic Linux converter. The SUSE changes will then be limited in scope to only what is required for SUSE support. This series of patches accomplishes the following: - Renames RedHat.pm to Linux.pm - Modifies Linux.pm
