Dovecot dsync not replicating ".dovecot.sieve -> .sieve/managesieve.sieve" / setactive
Hello,
I've ran into problem with Dovecot and dsync replication. Everything
works perfectly, including replication of sieve scripts, except fact
that if user activates the 'managesieve' ruleset (I'm using currently
Roundcubemail) on "mail1" host, it wouldn't be activated on "mail2"
host, by creating symlink ".dovecot.sieve ->

Can't get sieve/managedsieve working
Hi,
I am running dovecot 2.1.7 for a while, with roundcube webmail frontend
0.9.5 . Now I wanted to add sieve to filter mails. Unfortunately most
tutorials are for dovecot 1.x but I'm running dovecot 2 on debian
wheezy.
I could upload some scripst with sieve-connect, checked and activated
them. When I try to edit filters with thunderbird sieve plugin 0.2.2
nothing happens. If I try to

Problem with dovecot-managesieved and sieve scripts in mysql

Problems getting Squirrelmail and Avelsieve to connect to Pigeonhole
Hi,
I have been going around in circles trying to find the solution. Many
others appear to have the same problem, but never a solution or explanation.
I am running Dovecot 2.0.21 under Fedora 16.
All components are running on the same server, whose IP address is shown
as '192.168.x.y'.
The dovecot -n output is:

Almost there with Sieve
Hi all,
Dovecot - 2.2.35
Pigeonhole - 0.4.23
I've recently moved mail filtering from local filtering (using
Thunderbird) to Sieve.? I've got filtering into folders and flagging
emails working fine, but for possibly one tiny glitch.
When specifying folders to filter into I have to use the format
'INBOX/Folder name' instead of just 'Folder name'.? Can this be
corrected??

problems with sieve
Hi all
I am running a simple mail server on ubuntu 12.04LTS with postfix 2.9.3
and dovecot 2.1.10. Since this morning sieve doesn't work anymore. I
changed the sieve script forth and back but sieve is not working. I also
replaced the sieve file with the backup, but no success. But I can't any
error messages in the log files indicating any problem with sieve. The
only thing I found is:

Sieve replication - Debian 9.11 - Dovecot 2.2.7 - script changes not replicated
Hi,
I am trying to setup Sieve replication, it is almost working:
1/ Create a script - sync'd across
2/ Activate/de-activate a script - change sync'd
3/ Delete a script - change sync'd
But if I make a change to a script it is not replicated, unless I
de-activate and activate again.
I am seeing in the logs the below during this process

custom arguments via my test sieve script:

personal sieve script not included
Hello,
I'm using dovecot 2.2.10 and roundcube (with managesieve enabled).
Sieve filtering works well, as long the rule is written
into ~/.dovecot.sieve (which is a link to ~/sieve/managesieve.sieve)
When adding a new filter set (in roundcube) the script is
written to ~/sieve/newfilterset.sieve. This script will not be
executed. How can I solve this?
I set
sieve_dir = ~/sieve
This should work,

Sieve: Mailbox doesn't exist
I have just set up a mail server on Ubuntu, using Postfix and Dovecot 2.0.19.
It works well but I can't get Sieve working. I always get the error that the
target mailbox doesn't exist. In fact it doesn't but isn'r Dovecot supposed to
create it?
Here is my doveconf -n:

sieve sending vacation message from vmail@ns1.domain.tld
Also, please provide an example scenario; i.e., for one problematic
delivery provide:
- The values of the variables substituted in the dovecot-lda command
line; i.e., provide that command line.
- The incoming e-mail message.
Regards,
Stephan.
