[LLVMdev] Merging custom metadata
Hello everyone, I'm trying to tag certain load instructions with specialized metadata and make use of it in an AA pass. However, it seems that metadata is getting lost when instructions are merged together. Here's a toy problem with one intentionally duplicated load to illustrate the issue. http://susepaste.org/3af3a676 The above paste has two before/after IR pairs (the `before`

[cfe-dev] GitHub anyone?
I'm in favor of both going to git as the source of truth, and then switching the hosting to github. Echoing everyone else, this unlocks a lot of good stuff that I won't repeat, and most of it can be handled independently from the VCS move. The major blocker I see for the move is figuring out how we want to coordinate versions between the related LLVM projects. I hear *terrible* things

R 3.2.5 is released
The 3.2.4-revised version turned out to give trouble for some of CRAN's subsystems. Accordingly, a rebadged version 3.2.5 is now released; it only differs in the version number and a few clean-up items. If you have a working install of 3.2.4-revised there should be no reason to upgrade it. You can get the source code from http://cran.r-project.org/src/base/R-3/R-3.2.5.tar.gz or wait for it

Fresh build from source of R-3.2.5 failing "make check" under 64-bit Ubuntu
Hi, Let me justify building R from source. While I can obtain R built for me under Ubuntu, I tend to build it from scratch as we use a NFS-shared build as well as shared R libraries for all the bioinfo staff at this company. Only one build and one set of packages to ensure uniformity across all workstations. My problem is that despite using a pretty standard build process, I am failing at the

samba PDC upgrade from 3.2.5 to 3.4.7
Hello everyone. Yesterday i did an almost painless upgrade from samba pdc from 3.2.5 to 3.4.7. I'm running in a Debian Lenny (upgraded from the original package to the backported one). After a few tweaks i found on the web my users, including those who run win7, where able to log in the domain. But now the cannot access the shared folders on the server. Some users can't even open the
