Release for CentOS-5.8 i386 and x86_64
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of CentOS-5.8 for
the i386 and x86_64 Architectures.
CentOS-5.8 is based on the upstream EL 5.8 release and includes
packages from all variants including Server, Client, Virtualization,
and Clustering. All upstream repositories have been combined into one
to make it easier for end users to work with.

There is a critical update for samba for centos-5.8 ... we are working
on CentOS-5.8 right now and I fully expect it to be released in a week

centos-release-7-5.1804.5.el7.centos update
We have released an update to the centos-release that changes some of
the architectures to use mirrorlist.centos.org (which also uses external
mirrors) .. instead of having all alternative arches use only
mirror.centos.org.? This should male updates happen faster for these
arches as it spreads the load from our mirror.centos.org servers
(normally 20-30 worldwide mirrors) to more than 600 world

There were several zero day updates released with CentOS 7 (1511) today,
as well as the newer RPMs that exist on the ISOs as part of the main
release.

Using sha256sum instead of md5sum for package checksums
There are known Collision Attacks for the MD5SUM method of hashing, so
it is possible to modify a file and make it have the same MD5SUM as
another file. See this link for details on Collision Attacks:

Continuous Release (CR) Repository updates are released for CentOS-6.6
We have released the following updates into the 6.5/cr repository:

The updates include everything that will be on the 6.6 ISO Sets and also
everything to date that will be in 6.6 Updates.

CentOS Continuous Release Repository updated with CentOS-6.7 RPMs
The packages that will become CentOS-6.7, as well as updates completed
for CentOS-6.7 to date are now released into the CentOS-6.6 Continuous
Release (CR) repository.
All packages except for the centos-release RPM are included.

Release 1505 of CentOS Linux 7 Rolling ISO Based Media
