Links 2003 Regression in WINE 1.4-rc5 & 1.4-rc6
The radio buttons have disappeared unless one right click's on the general area of the button. This problem began in 1.4-rc5 and still exists in 1.4-rc6. Links 2003's radio buttons worked fine in 1.4-rc4 which is the last version of WINE that'll I use until this problem is fixed.

as well as "gcc -m32" and "g++ -m32" you may want to configure with
--build=i686-pc-linux-gnu

OpenSSH 2.1.0 won't build without rc5 and idea
OK, I've hacked configure so that it simply checks that it can link
with openssl. Now, when I run make, it dies on authfile.c while
trying to include the non-existent headers openssl/rc5.h and
openssl/idea.h. I built my installation of openssl without those
algorithms in order to avoid commercial licensing issues.
The following diff band-aids the problem, but I think it's down-stream

[TESTDAY] Compiling on 64-bit Ubuntu systems
It appears that we have a build dependency on 32-bit headers which
isn''t checked during ./configure, leading to strange-looking error:

[squid-users] squid3 / debian stable / please update to 3.4.14
Hai,
You can very easy upgrade to 3.5.12 on Jessie.
Add sid to your sources.list, or better in :
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/debian-sid.list
Only the deb-src line is needed.
Now apt-get update
# install dependecies.
apt-get build-dep squid
# get and build source.
apt-get source squid -b
if you missing something, get that package first, build it, install it and do above again.

More [A tangent on RC5] Cryptography patents (was: openssl lib question.)
I hate following up to myself, but
I thought a clarification of one
point (specifically WRT RC5 which
was mentioned in the original question)
might be worthwhile...because what
I should have said originally was
that "To the best of my non-legally-
admissible knowledge, however, none
of the algorithms in the current

Problem booting 2.6.30-rc5 kernel
Good morning!
I know I'm on the bleeding edge, but I'm having trouble getting
the 2.6.30-rc5 kernel to boot on my CentOS 5.3 box. It's a
dual-socket Nehalem box with the Tylersburg chipset (Supermicro
board). I installed CentOS 5.3 on it with no problems - boots and
runs fine. But I wanted to take a look at the 2.6.30-rc5 kernel
and try out some new stuff.
After a few go around's

Testing Report for Xen 3.0.3 rc5
We have tested Xen for 3.0.3 rc5. In the testing we mainly focus on
retesting the issues of the rc3.
Following is the detail status:
One new issue found in 3.0.3 rc5:
1. IA32 PAE Win2003 will crash HVM domain with more than 4GB memory
assigned on IA32e HV.
The issue won''t appear every time. Booting IA32 PAE Win2003 HVM domain
for several times with more than 4GB memory will reproduce the

I do not want to answer for the OP, but for myself, two things:
1) I maintain a personal library in my HOME folder - for a few
reasons - and one of the benefits is that I can install/update R
packages without needing to run R as

I think so. This is an i?86 build on a x86_64 machine, i.e. with -m32.
(gcc specifically, but I am sure that clang would raise the same
issue, since this is about

[LLVMdev] -m32 gives me mixture of 32- and 64-bit code
Hi all,
after reading and learning much more about GNU's configure and compile
machine than I ever wanted ;-), I arrived at configuring llvm-2.2 like
this:
CFLAGS=-m32 CXXFLAGS=-m32 ./configure --prefix=$HOME
The assembler errors are finally gone (phew!, and thanks for all the
help!), but I get linker errors now:
llvm[3]: Linking Release Object Library LLVMX86.o
