coredump at the end of 'configure' and error for 'make'
Hi,
I got some errors when I attempted to build R (R-2.6.2) on my Solaris 9 box. Can someone please provide some suggestion on what to do next?
The "configure" process was fine expect that I got some warning and a coredump at the end.
What does that affect? Can I still build it?
./configure --prefix=/var/tmp/R/ --with-x=no
R is now configured for i386-pc-solaris2.9

printcap = coredump
First off, I'm upgrading my school's version of samba, they have 941
printers listed in the printcap file. The old version of samba works.
When I run "smbd -D", it waits a few seconds then replies "IOT trap (core
dumped)." gdb has errors tracing through it. Here is a snip from log.smb
(the only log file I get) at level 10 logging (plus some extra debug

test-68 coredump
I've tried upgrading from test-51 to test-68, with mixed results.
It seems to fix the problem I had with imap and Thunderbird getting
confused and not showing headers or body for some email.
But something in dovecot is coredumping when I select certain
mailboxes. Thunderbird just hangs when you select that mailbox, and
mutt gets an EOF on the imap socket while "fetching message

systemd-coredump service
I am unable to locate systemd-coredump service on CentOS 7.5. It is not
listed under "systemctl -a" and also I'm unable to locate the associated
unit file (folder /usr/lib/systemd/system/ ). Am I missing any package
which installs this service?

Coredump using virtual folder.
Hi,
I'm using dovecot 1.2rc2 and I have the following issues with the virtual
folder:
1. The virtual folders are flagged with \Noselect and at least thunderbird
does not offer to select them. Adding them to the subscriptions file works
fine and the folder can be used after that.
2. Two basic virtual work just fine like:
$ cat virtual/all/dovecot-virtual

That's an interesting setting you have there.. I tried to reproduce but
I can't seem to make it crash with it.

The problem is that homeDirectory in there. It's not used at all currently. You probably want to replace it with:
=home=/imap/spool/%d/%1n/%n
It of course shouldn't crash anyway. I'll try to figure it out.

Coredump -> backtrace Script
I wrote a little something about how I'm automatically creating
backtraces from coredumps:
http://sys4.de/de/blog/2013/04/13/core-catcher-linux/
I've been using this with Dovecot-HEAD and Squid-HEAD, mostly :)
