sda and sdb reverse order with an external USB drive
Hello
I am using 64 bit CentOS 6.4 on an i7 laptop with one sata drive and a
CD drive.
I installed CentOS by manually partitioning sda as:
sda1 as /boot, sda2 as swap, sda3 as /.
The booted system works great.
When I insert an external USB drive, formatted as ext3, the hard drive
on the laptop and the
USB drive are either sda or sdb, depending upon the order on which I
insert the USB drive

Icecast crashing / terminated - out of memory
Hi, needing some advice.
I am running a backports version of icecast for Debian 10. I have found that with this version, the icecast server will usually run for about 7 days before it crashes. I found in the syslog that icecast gets terminated because it?s 'out of memory'.
This never happened on the standard (stable) version of icecast that I ran on Debian 9 installed via apt.
I?ve added

SIP DTMF problem with SNOM
Hi!
I have two identical SIP accounts on Asterisk 1.4.22. One account is
registered with eyebeam, the other one is registered with a SNOM phone.
When using the eyebeam client DMTF detection works fine, when using the
SNOM phone many digits are missing in the DTMF detection.
I analyzed with wireshark and both phones uses RFC 2833 and the trace
looks pretty the same. Also the rtp debug log

Best way to know the domain across all controllers?
Hello,
I would like to use something like
domain=request.domain
and be able to access the domain variable across all my controllers.
What is the best way to do so? In which file can I put the above variable declaration and still be able to access it application wide?
I guess I am asking on assistance for using global variables in rails.
Can anyone please guide me to a source

Winbind problem with more details.
Everyone,
One of our developers was kind enough to insert some bug checking into the mod_auth_pam and mod_auth_sys_group so that we could see a little more of what was going on with our authentication failures. Here is what we just saw. Two of our users NA\connelmp and NA\guminssa both started getting messages that they were not part of the required group. Here is the log for

kernel deadlock
We have a reproducible problem with FreeBSD-4.7 which is apparently a
deadlock.
The system is undergoing a filesystem stress test.
The machine is pingable, but console and most other features are
unresponsive.
The console debugger can be accessed.
The following information is available with db's "ps".
I suspect the wchan of "inode" to be what everything is waiting on.

Winbind traffic not encrypted
A problem here getting winbind traffic to be encrypted using Kerberos.
I have set up a test environment with a pair of servers (actually lxc
containers):
- samba server (ubuntu 16.04, stock samba 4.3.11)
- client machine (ubuntu 16.04) joined with "net ads join" and winbind
The client machine has the following in /etc/samba/smb.conf:

LLVM Status Update
Hi all LLVMers!
It's time for another dose of LLVM status update. Since 1.1, we've fixed
34 new LLVM bugs (including a lot of quality-of-implementation bugs), sped
up the optimizer, and even implemented some new features. Here are the
highlights:
1. Misha reorganized the sparc backend to be a bit more modular and
cleaned up the asmwriter.
2. The JIT now lazily initializes global

reading in data contingent upon a character at col 1
Greetings,
I have a text file that is output from a statistics package that I would like
to read into R. Since I have several hundred of these output files I would
prefer not to edit them manually. The problem is that it has a ";" (without
the quotes) as the first character for some lines - lines that I do not
necessarily want to read in. Use of tr, sed, awk or any other unix

tor2 driver panics with 2 sticks of memory
We use dual Athlon machines with up to three T400P 4-span T1 cards.
If I have more than one stick of memory (2 1GB modules or 2 512K modules, each
identical), I'm getting a panic soon after I modprobe the tor2 driver. I just
loaded the latest from CVS and I'm still getting the panics, which look in part
like:

Crashing in Get_Pwnam_internals
I have two samba servers with pretty much identical setups (same
smb.conf, smbd, winbindd, libnss_winbind.so binaries), joined to the
same domain, one of which works, one doesn't. I'm seeing smbd crashing
when I try to connect to the problem server with the following
information in the logs.

[LLD][ELF] Dynamic relocations list depends on the input files order
Hi,
For MIPS it is possible that output executable file contains both GOT
entry and R_MIPS_COPY or R_MIPS_REL32 relocation for the same target
symbol. If LLD processes the relocation requires GOT entry before the
relocation requires COPY dynamic relocation, it generates the correct
output. If the order is reversed, LLD emits COPY dynamic relocation
only and does not generate a GOT entry (or shows

Asterisk 11.6. SIP realtime lost peers after 'sip reload'
Hi, list.
We have a problem with loss peers after 'sip reload', our configuration:
Asterisk 11.6-cert1, SIP realtime peers, sip.conf:
- rtcachefriends=yes
- rtsavesysname=yes
- rtupdate=yes
- rtautoclear=yes
When we do 'sip reload' , peers are removing from available.
Before `sip reload` :

DAHDI/ZAP overlap dialing
Hi,
I have a PRI euroisdn link between an Alcatel PBX and Asterisk.
I'm having some trouble with overlap dialing.
Suppose I dial '874053' from an Alcatel extension ('7034') where '87' is an Alcatel prefix of type "ARS Prof.Trg Grp Seiz.with overlap".
I'm expecting Asterisk to receive '1004053' (where '100' is a prefix which always shows
