distance matrix and hclustering

x and y lengths differ
I have a problem with R. I try to compute the confidence interval for my
df. When I want to create the plot I have this problem: Error in
xy.coords(x, y, xlabel, ylabel, log) : 'x' and 'y' lengths differ.
I try this code:

How to turn Time Series daily values into weekly means (aggregate?)
#this is a daily series of precipitation data. I would like to condense it
into weekly means. How can I do this
#as a side note I would like to do this same thing to two years worth of
fifteen minute interval data and make it into

need of elegant data manipulation
Dear R users,
I seek for a more elegant manner to manipulate my data that that I
produced so far.
Data is in a data frame THC515.DATA -sample at the end of this mail- of
5 variables, a string and 4 continuous numeric variables.
I need to get the mean of two variables "Q" and "T" at the levels of a
third one "dP", individually for each level of "n".

is there already a function in any R package which does
source code formatting of deparsed lists?
Let's create the following list:

Hoaglin Outlier Method
I am a new user of R so please bear with me. I have reviewed some R books,
FAQs and such but the volume of material is great. I am in the process of
porting my current SAS and SVS Script code to Lotus Approach, R and
WordPerfect.

simultaneous estimation
Hi folks,
Not sure what this sort of estimation is called. I have a 2-column time-series x(i,t) [with (i=1,2; t=1,...T)], and I want to do the following 'simultaneous' regressions:
x(1,t) = (d - 1)(x(1, t-1) - mu(1))
x(2,t) = (d - 1)(x(2, t-1) - mu(2))
And I want to determine the coefficients d, mu(1), mu(2).
Note that the d should be the same for both estimations, whereas the
