Remus' Network Buffering
Hi,
I am trying to understand and change the network buffering that is being used by Remus, the HA solution present in Xen. From what i understood from reading the code, Remus calls the postsuspend method of the BufferedNIC after it suspends the domain that sends TC_PLUG_CHECKPOINT message and start the buffering and then calls the commit method of BufferedNIC after it gets the acknowledgement

openssh-5.3p1-123.el6_9.x86_64.rpm for CESA-2017:2563 not available in mirror.centos.org centos6 repo
The patch for CESA-2017:2563 announced at
https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-announce/2017-August/022529.html
is only available in the centos 6.9 repo. It is missing for the generic
centos-6 repo at http://mirror.centos.org/centos-6/6/os/x86_64/Packages/.
Typically this repo contains all the latest patches for the latest minor
release, but it's missing the new version of openssh. I

Thanks for the quick and helpful replies. Also, thank you for pointing out that I should have been looking in updates, not os. That makes perfect sense, but I got hung up on the fact that it was missing from os. Anyway, that led to me discovering that on one of my internal mirrors the updates repo hadn?t synced in a couple months, which was ultimately the cause for the missing package in that

double buffering in windows() not working
I have doubled buffered animations that I show in class.
They used to work but now flash.
The default windows() option is buffered = TRUE.
Just in case, I tried using windows( buffered = TRUE)
but this made no difference.
I am not sure when the change occurred.
An older R2.11 version in one class room worked.
R2.14.1, R2.14.2 and R2.15 don't work on my computer.
Some of the animations

How to stop buffering of "cat"
Hi All,
My R code takes very long time to finish the processing. I want to see at
what stage the script is running. So I wrote some output messages using cat.
But instead of displaying the cat messages at different stages they are
buffered and displayed in the end when entire processing is done.
Can you please suggest how to stop this buffering or some alternative way to
display messages
Thank

AMI buffering event output?
Hi,
I'm seeing weird behavior with AMI where no events are output until
some input is detected (can be an empty line), at which time all the
buffered output is spewed out at once.
I am maintaining multiple Asterisk installations, and with one
installation I have run into a weird buffering problem with AMI.
The version is 1.6.1.11 in this particular case, which I am running at

buffering output to the console
Hey all,
I was wondering about the order of execution of functions and found that, in fact, I should look at the topic of buffering output to the console.
Which I did - below are some links of related topics, in case anyone wants to read up on it.
I decided to change the concerning lines in the file "Rconsole" in the "etc"-folder to

Turning windows screen buffering on and off
All,
Does anyone know if there is an option I can set to turn screen-buffered
output on and off with the win32 rgui? (Apart from the point and click
method).
I am running some simulations where it is useful to watch output but it
gets mildly tiresome having to manually switch things on and off via the
gui.
Thanks
Toby.

Rsync performance increase through buffering
I've been studying the read and write buffering in rsync and it turns
out most I/O is done just a couple of bytes at a time. This means there
are lots of system calls, and also most network traffic comprises lots
of small packets. The behavior is most extreme when sending/receiving
file deltas of identical files.
The main case where I/O is buffered is writes from the server (when
