Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI
Roberto
Thanks.
Panasonic KX-TD1232 system ISDN interface use DDK plug, not same cord you are using for openvox B400P card.
Each port could be configured as CO or extension port as Point-Point or PTMP in both mode.
Regarding to dial timeout these it becomes from ISDN dial mode overlap or En-bloc, by the way you can close dialling number by using # key.

Asterisk + Avaya (CM5.2) H.323 trunk Link
Anyone have an H.323 trunk tied between their Avaya and Asterisk box that
works? I am having some issues trying to get the two systems to connect. I
am using the ooh323 channel to try to make the connection between the two
system. I have all my configs if anyone would like to look over them. If I
do a trace on Avaya I get a denial event 1191: Network Failure.
Thanks!

How to configure NT/ptmp with Dahdi and BRI ? (Olivier)
Hi Olivier
It seems wrong configuration, because according to your mail Asterisk it will be acting as terminal mode (ie Patton gateway acting as network and asterisk as terminal).
But Asterisk message is indicated Asterisk a s a NT mode [ 212.226050] wctdm24xxp 0000:0a:01.0: xhfc: Configuring port 0 span 1 in

CONNECTEDLINE and panasonic 500
Hello!
I have following connections over isdn pri:
avaya definity---pri--asterisk--pri-panasonic 500
Just because panasonic 500 can't send user's names.
I also want to have reverse callerid for avaya users.
But if there is no answer in dial plan:
exten => _XXXX,1,Set(CONNECTEDLINE(name)=${DB(names/${EXTEN})})
;exten => _XXXX,n,Answer
exten => _XXXX,n,Dial(DAHDI/g4/${EXTEN})

Linux Voice Mail Application??
Does anyone on this list know of any Linux based apps that will work with
Dialogic or Brooktrout that provides voice-mail/Autoattendant only?? It
seems that Panasonic, Avaya, and Mitel all use Unix/linux based OS on their
firmware for their proprietary voice mails.
My wish list would be;
A software that provides all of the drivers for a dialogic or brooktrout
board

H.323 Trunk between Asterisk 11 and Avaya
Hello,
I'm trying to create a H.323 trunk between Asterisk 11 and Avaya. I have
done this before between Asterisk 1.6 and Avaya but had some issues placing
external calls from the Asterisk to the Public network which is connected
to Avaya. I'm trying to create that trunk on Asterisk 11 because the 1.6 is
outdated and has no support.
On the Asterisk side I have Aastra 6731i SIP phones

AVAYA H.323 IP phone account and Asterisk
Hi
I've a softphone account to a AVAYA H.323 system, basically, it has a
numeric ID (which is the extension number) and a numeric password.
Instead of using the default AVAYA softphone (H.323), can I make asterisk as
a H.323 client and login to the AVAYA system via any one of its h323
modules?

Avaya 8300 - Asterisk integration using H.323
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone on this group has successfully integrated Avaya 8300 or 8700 and Asterisk using H.323 trunk and would be willing to share configurations and/or comment on the voice quality achieved.
Currently we have Avaya 8300 integrated with Asterisk over a Q.SIG trunk, but we need to put Asterisk in a different geographical location from the PBX and need to explore

We create node-name,H.323 signaling group,trunk,

Instead of giving the IP of Asterisk ,i give my computer's IP and run
SJPhone ith H.323 GUI.
In this time, connection is established.
SJPhone accepts H323 calls but Asterisk does not.

Asterisk/Panasonic PRI Integration
Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a light on the next problem integrating an Asterisk
server with a Panasonic PBX using a PRI.
The follow config has been working for two weeks and works almost fine,
except for some little problems...
1- PSTN provides the E1/PRI (EuroISDN)
2- Asterisk receives the PRI
3- Asterisk provides a second PRI to Panasonic
4- Panasonic receives the asterisk PRI

chan_zap vs. Panasonic DTMF integration
The Panasonic KX-TA624 series PBXes (and similar models) support a DTMF
integration feature that can be enabled for dedicated voice mail ports.
What I want to do is connect an X100P FXO port to a jack on the
Panasonic and make use of the Panasonic's DTMF call progress tones that
it provides in DTMF integration mode.
The integration works well when a Panasonic extension is forwarding into

ipw220 wireless firmware for CentOS 5
OK, I've downloaded and unzipped the firmware files in
ipw2200-fw-3.0.tgz - so I have 4 files: ipw2200-bss.fw, ipw2200-ibss.fw,
ipw2200-sniffer.fw and LICENSE.ipw2200-fw, all of which I've placed in
the /lib/firmware directory. Unfortunately, the instructions in
README.ipw2200 and INSTALL are not clear as to what to do next. I'm
using CentOS 5 on my (Dell) laptop so setting-up wireless
