Connecting Asterisk and BT Versatility PBX via NT BRI
Roberto Thanks. Panasonic KX-TD1232 system ISDN interface use DDK plug, not same cord you are using for openvox B400P card. Each port could be configured as CO or extension port as Point-Point or PTMP in both mode. Regarding to dial timeout these it becomes from ISDN dial mode overlap or En-bloc, by the way you can close dialling number by using # key. Best regards Mc GRATH Ricardo E-Mail

Linux Voice Mail Application??
Does anyone on this list know of any Linux based apps that will work with Dialogic or Brooktrout that provides voice-mail/Autoattendant only?? It seems that Panasonic, Avaya, and Mitel all use Unix/linux based OS on their firmware for their proprietary voice mails. My wish list would be; A software that provides all of the drivers for a dialogic or brooktrout board Voice Mail Messages in WAV

H.323 Trunk between Asterisk 11 and Avaya
Hello, I'm trying to create a H.323 trunk between Asterisk 11 and Avaya. I have done this before between Asterisk 1.6 and Avaya but had some issues placing external calls from the Asterisk to the Public network which is connected to Avaya. I'm trying to create that trunk on Asterisk 11 because the 1.6 is outdated and has no support. On the Asterisk side I have Aastra 6731i SIP phones

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone on this group has successfully integrated Avaya 8300 or 8700 and Asterisk using H.323 trunk and would be willing to share configurations and/or comment on the voice quality achieved. Currently we have Avaya 8300 integrated with Asterisk over a Q.SIG trunk, but we need to put Asterisk in a different geographical location from the PBX and need to explore

chan_zap vs. Panasonic DTMF integration
The Panasonic KX-TA624 series PBXes (and similar models) support a DTMF integration feature that can be enabled for dedicated voice mail ports. What I want to do is connect an X100P FXO port to a jack on the Panasonic and make use of the Panasonic's DTMF call progress tones that it provides in DTMF integration mode. ipw220 wireless firmware for CentOS 5
OK, I've downloaded and unzipped the firmware files in ipw2200-fw-3.0.tgz - so I have 4 files: ipw2200-bss.fw, ipw2200-ibss.fw, ipw2200-sniffer.fw and LICENSE.ipw2200-fw, all of which I've placed in the /lib/firmware directory. Unfortunately, the instructions in README.ipw2200 and INSTALL are not clear as to what to do next. I'm using CentOS 5 on my (Dell) laptop so setting-up wireless
