Psych can't load LaTeX entities file
Hi there,
I wanted to use RedCloth with my RubyOnRails 3 application, but it seems
that RoR uses 1.9.2''s Psych by default as the YAML parser if available,
and Psych fails to load the LaTeX entities file:

samba 3.6.4 smbd dies on solaris 10 sparc64
Hi list,
Disclaimer: not a subscriber, not a samba expert, just trying to get samba
running on a Solaris 10 system.
We build samba 3.6.4 from source for various platforms. We link against our
own builds of cyrus-sasl 2.1.23, openldap 2.4.23, and openssl 1.0.0h. On
Solaris we also compile against krb5-1.10.1. Builds are done with GNU tools
whenever possible (gcc/ld/make).
The build host, as well

S4 group generic with additional argument
Dear R-help,
I am attempting to set the "Summary" group generic function
for my S4 class. Using the standard arguments, this is easy. The function
returns the result of the generic for every element in a list:
? setClass("TestClass", representation(elements =
"list"))
? tc <- new("TestClass", elements = list(a = 1:5, b =
6:20))

winbind service panics "randomly"
Hi Rowland,
thank you for another quick reply.
1) I did all the changes on the smb.conf you suggested and restart
samba-ad-dc on both DCs.
2) Changed file server log to 10 and rebooted it just because.
3) Winbind crashed.
3.1) I have a gut felling that if I leave it alone, it lasts longer. If I
do a wbinfo -u it's ok, but if I go and check it often, it eventually
crashes. Again, gut felling,

winbind service panics "randomly"
Hi all,
on a recently installed samba file server, the winbind service crashes
apparently randomly. Every few hours it's necessary to restart the winbind
service and then it works for a few more hours. Any ideas are welcome.
1) the environment: 2 debian stretch DC's with round-robind bind+dhcp with
dns-update. 1 fileserver also (AD backend) on debian stretch. All on self

[PATCH] pmu/gk20a: PMU boot support.
Hi Deepak,
There's... a lot of stuff going on here. Can you describe the goal of
this patch (which could then be used as the patch commit message)? The
current one basically boils down to "Add support for loading PMU", but
merely loading the fw into a fuc engine is just a handful lines of
code. Also, except in rare cases, it's customary to split up patches
of this size into

[PATCH] pmu/gk20a: PMU boot support.
Hi Mirkin,
Your observations are quiet correct.
After the boot code is submitted successfully, I will submit the code to configure & enable features of PMU.(This will be done by sending cmds to PMU).
Now talking about this patch:
Apart from just the boot code, I have also included some things in this patch that I can remove for now(I will include these things in later digestible chunks):

Samba 3.5.2 compile on AIX
I'm having trouble compiling Samba 3.5.2 on AIX 5.3 TL10 SP1.
I'm compiling Samba with ADS support against a locally installed Heimdal

clikrb5.c
This is using the IBM xl_C compiler.
Below is the complete build logs. I'm able to get around the error if I
