Does software raid 1 compare checksums or otherwise verify that the same bits are coming from both disks during reads? What I'm interested in, is whether bit errors that were somehow undetected by the hardware would be detected by the raid 1 software. Thanks, Nataraj

Hello, Is there a VNC client out there that can permit me to run it 15 times simultaneously and scale them smaller so that I can view 15 little remote screens (at the same time) in my one big monitor? The other three for the i386 DVD and ditto for x86_64 (cd+dvd) are just sitting there. The availability and the number of connected peers in the swarm for each torrent is rather high though. After you do your update, done forget to do updatedb, makewhatis, ... The locate for rpmnew has a couple items of interest and the locate for rpmsave returns one that occupies 24MB of your precious disks - /var/lib/Pegasus/prev-repository*. It compresses nicely to appx. 1MB, cpio bzipped --best. Change in your rndc key too, for DNS.
