UW-IMAP -> Dovecot : patch to remove nasty "internal messages" from UW-IMAP ?
Hello there,
We want to move from UW-IMAP to Dovecot (mbox format), works like a

all his mailbox files :

Reason for difference in singular value decomposition produced by function La.svd (via prcomp)?
Dear expeRts,
I have run some simulations under R 2.15.1 on a Mac, and I have rerun a
sample of them under R 3.0.1 on Windows (and also for comparison under
R2.14.1 on Windows). For most cases, I get exactly the same results in
all three runs. However, for those cases that depend on principal
components computed with prcomp, where the particular choice of the
orthogonalization is arbitrary

double buffering in windows() not working
I have doubled buffered animations that I show in class.
They used to work but now flash.
The default windows() option is buffered = TRUE.
Just in case, I tried using windows( buffered = TRUE)
but this made no difference.
I am not sure when the change occurred.
An older R2.11 version in one class room worked.
R2.14.1, R2.14.2 and R2.15 don't work on my computer.
Some of the animations

CentOS 4.3 Server spontaneously rebooting (over and over again)
Hi there,
This post has also been posted in the Hardware and General forums but I
thought it might be wise to post it here as well!
My CentOS 4.3 (upgraded from CentOS 4.2 installed from Linux Magazine's
April 2006 issue) server is rebooting spontaneously (over and over again).
It started while I was copying from USB-device (iPod) to another
USB-device (Freecom Portable-Hard-disk) but it

rm(list=ls())
R-2.14.2, Win7 x64
Dear list,
I have the habit of including rm(list=ls()) at the top of most of my
scripts. However, I wonder whether rm(list=ls()) gives the exact same
result as closing R and starting again fresh.
In other words, is it possible that there will be differences on how a
script runs under a fresh start of R versus when I "only" use
rm(list=ls()) , or should both

[PATCH OSSTEST] standalone-reset: fix check for existing d-i and creation of symlink
We need to check for "$diver-$suite" not just "$diver" now
Also when creating the current symlink only do so if
mg-debian-installer-update did something, since it will now silently ignore
unavailable combinations (e.g. armhf on Squeeze)

Dear list,
Excuse my ignorance, but I have gone through the R help (?parse, ?eval,

I have the general following structure that I would like to automate

Automating message archiving
Hallo,
I recently stumple over some discussion about Sieve and what's the
advantage to integrate it into the server rather than the LDA.
Most of the filtering capabilites local users want to have performed are
related to the INBOX or more preciesly the way to filter the message
coming in.
However, there are few tasks left:
1) Auto-archive old mail.
2) Drop old mail.
3) "Seen"

PNG diver problem
Hi,
I am having the following problem and I am not sure if this is bug or I am
missing something obvious.
I have a bunch of R functions that automatically process large data sets.
The processing produces several numerical summaries and several graphs
which are subsequently put in reports. I usually do my processing in R
BATCH mode on a Win2000 machine.
All the graphical functions in my package

initramfs scripts + cpio archive stuff

Hi all (two) klibc hackers! 8)
Here's the stuff I've been using to build an initramfs image and run it
on one of my machines. Unfortunately, the "init" script contains hard
coded information about where to find the root, etc, but it should give
people a working base to start from.

TinnR & Philips Webcam
Hi All,
I have a Philips Webcam, model SPC110NC. I had to download a diver in order for the webcam to work with Skype from the philips support page (www.philips.com/support).
Now when I start up TinnR to use with R, it opens the webcam. If I manually start up R, Tinn R will no longer synch with it.
Also, when I install the webcam driver there doesn't appear to be anyway to modify the

Horrible problem - calls losing sound
We're having a horrid problem with our asterisk setup.
Sometimes calls just go dead - we can't hear what the other end is
saying. (I think they can't hear us either). The call doesn't hang up
until one of the callers gets bored.
Internaly we use Thomson ST2030 SIP phones.
Externaly we have 3 ISDN BRI lines (6 channels total), connected to an
Eicon Diver server card (4BRI).

Samba 2.2.8a/winbindd - 2K Domain users password challenged
I have a RedHat Linux 9 server that I would like to allow users in my Windows 2000 domain to be able to map shares from without actually having an account on the system. Compiled samba, configured with "./configure --with-pam". Got the server into the domain, and regular "security = domain" seems to be working appropriately - providing there's a local account with the

install the firmware I can't with dahdi
what is the best way forward to recompile with hardware echo canceller
support.

IMQ problems :-(
Hi
I have built a custom TMB Mandrake kernel (2.4.22) with IMQ and ESFQ
support. I statically compiled both (mistake?) ESFQ is sorted and
working fine (I have succesfully patched IPROUTE2).
I have got to the stage where I can see the IMQ device as UP with ifconfig.
I can use TC to add QDISCs to the IMQ device. However I just cannot sort out
IPTABLES to actually redirect packets to the IMQ

Help with debugging message
Someone has given me a data set that produces a failure with all the
hallmarks of a memory overrun in a C routine. I've tried running it
under an instrumented version of R with valgrind and don't catch
anything. I do get one error message out though:
==642== Warning: set address range perms: large range [0x3901d040,
0x3f2ae7070) (undefined)
Can anyone shed light on what this means?
