Fix virt-edit so it preserves permissions (RHBZ#788641)
The first patch preserves file mode, UID, GID and SELinux context across edited files. The second patch adds a useful new command in guestfish ('llz') which shows SELinux context (like 'ls -laZ') that was useful when debugging this. Rich.

Should we always do wipefs before mkfs? Discuss ...
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=907554 In particular comments 2 & 3. We could change libguestfs's guestfs_mkfs (internally) so it always does an implicit wipefs on the filesystem. wipefs is not too onerous -- in particular I believe it only writes to a few chosen areas of the disk. Especially considering that we're about to run mkfs anyway which for some filesystems

[PATCH 0/4] Add various ntfs* tools and unify label setting.
This miscellaneous patch adds bindings for: - ntfsfix - ntfsclone - ntfslabel and unifies filesystem label setting through a single API 'set-label' which replaces 'set-e2label' and is also able to set labels on NTFS using the ntfslabel program. 'ntfsfix' has been added as a possible way to fix RHBZ#797760. However I have not found a way to fully fix this bug. See

mke2fs fails due to wipefs --force
My wipefs has no --force option, as a result mke2fs command in guestfish fails. Looks like 72dd398679cd0bb803daf306d12558369615ba70 needs an adjustment to make use of do_wipefs? Also str_wipefs is not used in that file. Olaf

[PATCH 0/2] Fix btrfs blocksize and bind mkfs.btrfs (RHBZ#807905).
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=807905 Currently if you specify the blocksize parameter to mkfs-opts with a btrfs filesystem, then it fails, because mkfs.btrfs interprets the -b option as meaning filesystem size. The first patch fixes this by disallowing blocksize (it cannot be mapped meaningfully into btrfs parameters). The second patch adds the full /sbin/mkfs.btrfs utility to the
