Error in Rd[[which]] : subscript out of bounds
I'm getting the following form R CMD CHECK mypackage

Error in Rd[[which]] : subscript out of bounds
problem found in ?myfunction.Rd?

This is... not the most helpful error.
I'd be happy to make a minimal .Rd example file if someone can point me to what a minimal .Rd file has in it.
The file is already pretty minimal, so it's

subscript out of bounds error in lda
I work with Windows, R version 2.4.1
I'm trying to do a discriminant analysis and, in trying to figure out how to
do it following the example from R help, I'm getting an error that says
'subscript out of bounds'. I don't know what this means and how to solve it
(I'm very new with R)
I'm doing everything in this made-up test matrix:

checkRd freezes while parsing erroneous preprocessor macros
Dear developers,
I came across with a bug while parsing Rd files.
Given is the following minimal Rd file:
----
\name{foo}
\title{foo}
\description{
#ifdef windows
win
#endifd
#ifdef unix
unix
#endif
}
----
By accident I have a typo at line 6, instead of having #endif I typed #endifd.
If I run checkRd(), parse_Rd(), Rd2HTML(), or others including the command line "R CMD Rconv" R

Suddenly "Subscript out of bounds"
Hello
Using R Version 2.3.1 I have setup a cronjob to update packages,
which worked successfully almost a year (it was called daily).
Basically, it runs like this:
Sys.getenv("http_proxy")
update.packages(ask=F,repos="http://cran.r-project.org")
(the http_proxy environment variable is set prior to the call).
All of a sudden, I started to get this error:

Feature request: display file name in R CMD check warning
Hi,
I came across the following warning in R CMD check (it only occurred on
Windows):
The \usage entries for S3 methods should use the \method markup and not

The package I'm looking at is one that I did not write which has 34 .Rd
files. This warning does not

trace an Rd conversion error in R cmd check
Hi All,
Apologies if this is a very naive question. Is there a way to see the
particular Rd file being processed right before a warning/error
occurs? As far as I can tell, all my .Rd files use have names and
titles and they are unique between Rd files (sometimes in a file I use
something like \name{foo} \title{Foo}). I seem to be able to convert
files to latex using: R CMD Rdconv --type=latex

SSOAP fails with .types[[1]] : subscript out of bounds
Hi,
I am trying to create a BioMoby client in R using SSOAP.
BioMoby is a normal SOAP web service, with request
and response messages wrapped in BioMoby XML dialect.
Since the particular WSDL I am having problems with
is autogenerated and used similarly by *many* services,
it would be quite important to a) fix SSOAP or
b) fix the WSDL generator.
I am a bit lost how to continue debugging

Svm modeling :: Error in which.max(votematrix[, x]) : subscript out of bounds
Having a classification problem, I am using SVM for prediction in R. In
dataset, there are integer as well as categorical variables. I got error
while predicting with predict method.
svp3c <- ksvm(input_dataset3$isCRgt3~., data=input_dataset3,type="C-svc")

"subscript out of bounds" Error in predict.naivebayes
I'm trying to fit a naive Bayes model and predict on a new data set using
the functions naivebayes and predict (package = e1071).
R version 2.5.1 on a Linux machine
My data set looks like this. "class" is the response and k1 - k3 are the
independent variables. All of them are factors. The response has 52 levels
and k1 - k3 have 2-6 levels. I have about 9,300 independent variables

Error: subscript out of bounds
Hi
I am running a simulation that involves a loop calling three 2 functions that I have written. Everything works fine when the inside of the loop is performed up to 1000 times (for (i in 1:750)).
However, I sometimes get : ''Error: subscript out of bounds'' if I try to increase the loop 'size' to 1000. I am thinking it has to to with memory but I am not sure. I have
