Unable to run Watchtower Library 2007 Japanese : font ?
Hello, I was using both version of WTLib 2007 (French and Japanese) under Unbuntu7.10 and Wine 0.9.47 and it worked fine with just an installation of VCRedist and some japanese fonts in windows folder. But recently i moved my system to the new Ubuntu8.04 with the last version of wine : 1.0 RC1. I read that i don't need to install vcredist and font anymore. It's supposed to be a platinum

Rosetta Stone suddenly stopped working
Hello, I installed Rosetta Stone 3 yesterday, and it worked perfectly. I ran it several times. When I tried to run it again today, it just crashed at the outset with the following error messages: Code: ALSA lib pcm.c:2171:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library /usr/lib/alsa-lib/libasound_module_pcm_pulse.so ALSA lib pcm.c:2171:(snd_pcm_open_conf) Cannot open shared library

Update Broke Rosetta Stone
I have RS version 3.4.7 and I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 x64. When I start the app, everything works up until I click my username, then the main application area is blank (title bar and exit and help menus are still visible and functional). It has worked fine for months; the only thing that has changed is that I recently accepted the latest system wine update. I ran the app from the command line:

Rosetta Stone
I am running Ubuntu 10.04 and WINE 1.2. WineHQ APPDB states that Rosetta Stone is not installable. I have installed it, so the information there is not correct/complete. When I installed, it ran perfectly. I created an ISO of the install disc and the first lesson. I then loop mounted each of them in turn for them to run and assigned each of them a windows directory, configuring them as CD-ROM.

ISO as CDROM
I have a laptop that has no CDROM, so I have to use an ISO. Anyway, I use to be able to mount the ISO at /media/cdrom and wine would recognize it as a cdrom. Now, when I try the same thing it doesn't recognize it as a cdrom. I have added /media/cdrom as a cdrom in winecfg, but still no luck. Can someone help me out, because this is the only thing preventing me from using my program (damn DRM).

The Talking Moose
Anyone here remember the old Talking Moose desktop toy from the 80's? For the unitiated, the Talking Moose was a simple applet on old Mac computers that periodically displayed an animated Bullwinkle-lookalike moose in the corner of the screen, spouting witty phrases or biting insults, as well as commenting on various activities like opening and closing programs or inserting disks. winspool error
I am using Mandrake 9.0 and wine-20021125. The program in question installed with no apparent problems. A lot of the program works correctly, however, I get to a point that gives an error. I ran the program with --debugmsg +loaddll options. I also line numbered the output and I included all output. On line 11 it loads winspool.drv but on line 41 it can not find winspool.drv. Any ideas on how to

Should Windows NT guest use all of a CPU?
I've "ported" an old VMware VM containing Windows NT 4 SP6 into libvirt/kvm/qemu and got it running (more or less). However, the CPU graph next to the VM in virt-manager shows it starts using 100% of the allocated CPU as soon as it reaches the "OS Loader" screen, and stays there even after Windows has booted and I've logged in. (There's a dip now and then,
