Hi there, Quoting RFC 3501 sec. 7.4.2 ?FETCH Response? (data item BODYSTRUCTURE): ?A body type of type MESSAGE and subtype RFC822 contains, immediately after the basic fields, the envelope structure, body structure, and size in text lines of the encapsulated message.? According the ABNF (RFC 3501 sec. 9) the envelope structure is that of the ENVELOPE FETCH data item, and the

Help with "non-integer #successes in a binomial glm"
Hi, I had a logit regression, but don't really know how to handle the "Warning message: non-integer #successes in a binomial glm! in: eval(expr, envir, enclos)" problem. I had the same logit regression without weights and it worked out without the warning, but I figured it makes more sense to add the weights. The weights sum up to one. Could anyone give me some hint? Thanks a lot!

Announcement before absolute timeout / how to terminate a meetme conf?
Hi, I'm new to asterisk and have a little trouble in developing my first more complex dialplan. The basic task is a click to call solution: - call one number via sip, play some announcements, do cdr etc. and put the callee into an conference room with music on hold - call a second number via sip, play some announcements, do cdr etc. put the callee into the same conference - have a nice chat

I want to transform de components with a value=1 to a component of value=0, and those with a value different to1, to a value=1. Then I want to take out the components=0. Thanks in advance, Juan Pablo [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

converting unsigned short sample to signed short sample
Thanks a lot for replying, The question now is , after subtracting 32767 from each unsigned sample, will the new signed samples represent the same original voice ? ???? For explanation, assume "Hi" is said in 8000 unsigned sample ,if i subtract 32767 from each sample and play the resulting 8000 sample as signed PCM samples, will they be "Hi" ?! Forgive me about my questions ,

Call connected, cannot hear or speak - $20 for fix
I am able to get this script to dial, but I am unable to talk or hear anything. The script asks for the number to call and the the caller id to display (if user is not at their normal extension). Once submitted, the external extension receives a call, once answered the call is then placed to the dentition number. The script works as the call is place, but I cannot hear or say anything. Any one

Garbled menu on ISOLINUX
We have a system that is designed with no VGA port, graphics card, or keyboard, only a serial console. We're trying to boot a Linux via ISOLINUX. The problem is that when ISOLINUX comes up, the screen is usually garbled. Not always; sometimes it's intact, sometimes it's completely blank. When it is garbled, it is NOT the garbled text of a wrong baud rate. Rather, it looks like

converting unsigned short sample to signed short sample
I don't understand why you're subtracting 2^15 - 1. Assuming you really do have unsigned samples (which is very odd) that have 0x8000 as the mid point of the range, then you need to subtract 0x8000, as I believe I pointed out already. By mid point, I mean if you have a pure tone (i.e., a sine wave) that has unsigned range 0 to 0xffff, then the mid point is 0x8000. The mid point should be

converting unsigned short sample to signed short sample
Thanks for replying. actually 2^15 in decimal is the same as 0x8000 in hex. the idea is clear for me that i should scale down each unsigned sample by 0x8000 for becoming signed. I hope that will work correctly as input raw samples to Speex codec. do you think so ? Regards, Mash'al ________________________________ From: Steve Checkoway <s at pahtak.org> To: Mashal al-shboul

SOLVED: Garbled menu on ISOLINUX
For posterity's sake, this problem was solved by removing the "serial" command and restoring "console" to the default of 1, thus completely relying on the BIOS console redirection instead of having ISOLINUX write to and read from the serial port. Thanks to Peter for his help a while back. -----Original Message----- From: Syslinux [mailto:syslinux-bounces at zytor.com] On

Don't make cookie-stored sessions a default
Hi! Before Rails 2.0 is coming, I suggest not to make CookieStore the default session storage. It stores clear-text values on the client-side and the integrity check hash can be brute-force attacked. I understand that this has been set due to speed advantages, but I believe it''s better to make better security a default. I''ve written a blog post about this

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking
