When doing a filesystem backup of an moderate sdbox mailstore (300GB) - are there any files that can be safely excluded from the backup?? Like *.log or *.backup?? Or are they all "vital" for recovery? I'm already excluding the sdbox/virtual folders as it looks like they get created and updated as needed. -- Daniel

Hi there, I ran into an issue yesterday (dovecot 2.0) whereby when we dsync messages from a local machine (sdbox) to a remote (Maildir) which have different pop3_uidl_formats configured, the uidl format is not preserved. Maybe i can use dsync to "mirror" the mailboxes(only the spam-subfolder) to another location and convert it to mbox or maildir and act then on it with sa-learn?
