Error starting Virtual Machine Manager: Failed to contact configuration server...
Hi all!
Do you have any idea about the following error message from virt-manager. I was trying to start it with "sudo virt-manager". Do you think I can fix this by simply restarting libvirtd?
Regards,
Allen

How could the admin do to grant me with permission to run virsh as unprivileged user?
Thank you! How could the admin do to grant me with permission to run virsh as unprivileged user? Also by configurating libvirtd.conf, unix_sock_group?

Apple movie trailers on Centos6/Firefox
Hi all!
Once again, Apple has messed with their trailers/website such that I can
no longer play their trailers on Centos 6 (note that it still works
fine on my two Fedora machines, F17 and F19, without any special
settings.
on Centos, I've long ago found that by setting the user agent to certain
values I could make it work, but now that no longer helps. when I try
to view a trailer all I get

[LLVMdev] Bad test health
I was curious how widespread bad usage of FileCheck prefixes is in the
LLVM/Clang test suite. Running the attached script yields over 200 tests
(~1.5%) which are essentially broken because they contain checks that
are never checked.
Most widespread is the usage of the "CHECK" prefix while all FileCheck
invocations have an explicit check prefix. Then there are quite a few
prefixes that

KVM guest not running but cannot stop either
These are the messages that I get when trying to attach a virtio disk
to or perform a shutdown of the problem vm guest.
Add hardware

Emulated TPM doesn't work on Debian Buster
Hi. I am very interested in the security properties a totally open TPM
can give our users? - its use as a universal smartcard to protect all
types of keys. When adding the virtual 1.2 or 2.0 TPM I get the vague
error below. OS is Debian stable with standard packages.

virtmanager and selinux
I built a new VM under KVM today and I've been getting a slew of message
that selinux is blocking virtmanager from reading the new image. This
doesn't seem to be doing any harm, but I wanted to check whether I should
simply run chcon on the image (if I can).
Virtmanager show up as usr_t, as do my other vm images, but the new one is
svirt_image_t.
The selinux error says it denied a read
