LUT update skipped on first modeset?
Hi Ben, I was looking into some of the LUT-related modesetting issues. I've noticed the following... after I load nouveau, one of my secondary GPUs shows this on first modeset (with drm.debug=4): [ 2368.081307] [drm:drm_helper_probe_single_connector_modes [drm_kms_helper]] [CONNECTOR:44:DVI-I-1] [ 2368.113148] [drm:drm_add_display_info [drm]] non_desktop set to 0 [ 2368.113183]

c7 xen-4.6 crash.
?I wrote about this a couple months back.? George asked me to submit to the Xen developers list, but I never had the time due to work demands on getting the new server set up.? In my case, I had to use a different server.? The new motherboard/CPU had no issues with the second CPU.? If you turn off and unplug the second CPU, it will work. new install of Xen 4.6 hangs on Loading initial ramdisk
?Not sure if this actually made it to the list the first time.? Here is the SERIAL output (bottom of message after your questions).? Googling the error indicates it's something people ran into a few years back but was supposedly fixed.? Any ideas? I can verify that if I REMOVE the second CPU, it boots into Xen kernel no problem.? The CPU itself doesn't matter, as I can swap either

890FX AMD-Vi (IOMMU)
Hello, I was hoping someone might be able to tell me why IOMMU does not seem to be found on my system. At the very least is there any way I can get more debug information in addition to adding iommu=verbose to the command line? Xen 4.0.0 MSI 890FXA-GD70 (I spoke with an MSI representative who confirmed that this motherboard does support IOMMU) AMD Phenom II 1090T x6 # dmesg __ __

VNC console only shows black screen on HVM guest running on Xen 4.1 with Ubuntu 12.04 as Dom0
Hello all, I have a problem getting a working VNC console for HVM guests on Xen 4.1. When I start the DomU with xm create everything is fine the DomU runs and in xm list it has the running state but when I try to connect to the VNC console to install an operating system (Ubuntu and Debian I have tested) the VNC viewer only shows a black screen. So I searched in the logs and found a log entry

uid/gid settings in rsyncd.conf not respected?
Hi All, I must not understand the uid/gid line in rsyncd.conf. If someone could briefly point out where I've gone wrong, I'd appreciate it. I've created a special user to backup a server which has some users who don't want all their files backed up, so I'm trying to address their concerns by using the uid= and gid= lines in rsyncd.conf to have the rsyncd run with
