xl / xen bash completion
reassign 768005 src:xen 4.11.1-1 thanks Hi, I was browsing the bash-completion package bug list before filing a bug to remove the obsolete 'xm' file, and then I ran into this one. Reassigning to Debian Xen team, since I that makes more sense. We totally missed this on our (release) radar. And indeed, we're shipping the upstream completion file now. Adi, I see how you're

[nbdkit PATCH] build: Allow 'make install' into non-root --prefix: bash-completion
In general, autotooled packages are supposed to allow './configure --prefix=$HOME/subdir' as a way to then get 'make install' to run as non-root. In fact, 'make distcheck' tests that this scenario works; alas, we fail due to: /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ../../../bash/nbdkit '/usr/share/bash-completion/completions' /usr/bin/install: cannot remove

[PATCH] xl: extend autoballoon xl.conf option with an "auto" option
From: David Vrabel <david.vrabel@citrix.com> autoballoon=1 is not recommened if dom0_mem was used to reduce the amount of dom0 memory. Instead of requiring users to change xl.conf if they do this, extend the autoballoon option with a new choice: "auto". With autoballoon="auto", autoballooning will be disabled if dom0_mem was used on the Xen command line. For

Re: How to use rtc_timeoffset (XL toolkit option) in Libvirt and Xen/libxl hypervisor?
Jim, Thanks a lot for your confirmation. Could you also please explain if the issue can be ever fixed, if it's possible to make some patch to fix it? Is it libvirt-specific bug or Libvirt development team rely on some other developers of libxl code...etc? I'm asking because XL tools works fine and I wonder if XL uses the same libxl libraries , doesn't it? Lastly is the issue is going

[PATCH] xl: make libxl_uuid2string internal to libxenlight
libxenlight exports a function libxl_uuid2string which is used internally in several places but has one external caller in xl. The function mainly implements policy so should not be part of the libxenlight API. The extent to which it can be considered mechanism it is not a xen mechanism since UUID''s are not a concept exlusive to xen. The one caller in xl seems to be an

Bash-Completion for samba-tool
Hey list, arriving home from SambaXP, it was really nice. That darth vader cake was super sweet :-) Hearing some people talking about how much they'd like bash completion for `samba-tool`, I've put together an ugly script that does that. It's a very dumb script (I'm boldly calling it script), but it might make someones day a little bit easier.
