Dear R-helpers, Is it possible to create a type of 'movie' in R based on the output of several figures (e.g., jpegs) via the plot() function. I obtained dynamic results with the plotting function and would like to save these as a movie (e.g., avi or other formats)? Dear users, 1. Is there a way to create a movie file to play a sequence of single frames (e.g. plots) at a specified time delay between frames? 2. If making a movie file is not possible, then how can I incorporate in a loop some delay between the frames to be plotted so I can change the playing speed? Using mencode I would do have something similar to mencoder "mf://*.png" -mf type=png:fps=5 -vf spp,scale -ovc lavc -o output.avi but I want to have an ogg format.
