http://dovecot.org/releases/2.1/rc/dovecot-2.1.rc6.tar.gz.sig
I've finally finished all of my email backlog. If you haven't received an answer to some question/bugreport, resend the mail.
This is hopefully the last v2.1 RC. If I don't receive any (serious) bug reports about this release in next few days, I'll just change

http://dovecot.org/releases/2.1/beta/dovecot-2.1.beta1.tar.gz.sig
Here's the first beta release of Dovecot v2.1. This version has already
been tested quite a lot, so I'm not expecting any major bugs. So please
upgrade and see if you can find any problems. I'm optimistic about
getting rc1 released this year and perhaps even

v2.1.0 status
I'll release v2.1.rc6 in maybe 16 hours or so. If no problems are reported in it after a few days I'll just change version to 2.1.0. So now's a great time to try the latest v2.1 hg version to see if there are any problems.
I've gone through all of my old mails. Let me know if you think something is still missing / unfixed in v2.1 hg. Preferably today.

move mail from server with v1.0 to server w. v2.1?
I'm about to replace my old server. Both servers are on my internal network.
The old one ist running debian lenny(32bit) with dovecot 1.0.15 and the
new one debian Wheezy with dovecot 2.1.7.
I set up the users on both systems identically (same gid uid).
My first attempt was tho simply rsync the Maildirs along with the homes.
Both deovecot versions are set up with the maildir format, but this

So it's time for the first alpha version of Dovecot v2.1. There are no
huge intrusive changes, so I expect v2.1.0 to be released this year
(maybe even in a few months?)
The biggest changes are related to full text search handling. I'll

doveadm + dsync merging
doveadm already supports some nice things, such as being able to remotely launch a doveadm command via TCP socket. It also supports executing a command for all users or to some specific users using a wildcard. dsync could use these features, so I merged dsync and doveadm into same binary for v2.1.
I'll still install "dsync" symlink pointing to "doveadm", and running that

Running 2.2.15 on FreeBSD 10.0.
Forcing replication with: doveadm replicator replicate -f user at host.com

Other users are fine.
When I run the above command on the one user it produces a core dump. See

Migrating domain using IMAPc
Hi list,
I'm trying to do a domain migration using the imapc feature, but i'm having
some problems and I really don't know what is happening.
So if you guys could help me with a path to solve this, I will be glad.
I'm using Dovecot 2.1.7 in a Debian Wheezy machine.
The command I'm using is:
dsync -Dv -o imapc_features=rfc822.size -o imapc_host=IP -o imapc_port=143

Here's finally the the stable v2.1 release. I expect this release to be quite stable, since it's already being used in several large installations.
Changes since rc7: FS layout related crashfix, two man pages added.
The biggest changes since v2.0:
