Worms Armageddon: cant open Worms Armageddon folder on fake ../drive_c/Team17/Worms Armageddon
Hi, this is my first attempt at using Wine. After installing wine I tried to install Worms Armageddon with wine e:/Install/install.exe at first I got a lot of.... fixme:ntdll:FILE_GetNtStatus Converting errno 38 to STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL around 50 lines, then the installer appeared and I installed as on windows except to c:/Team17 rather than program files. I then went looking for the WA.exe file

armageddon vs. polling for shared resources, ajax, stale browsers
Hi, I am using AJAX so much that I never refresh the entire webpage for the admin side of a webapp. If two people are viewing the same data and one person makes a change then I want the change to show up in the other person''s page. I can have the client poll the server every two seconds to look for changes. I''m not really interested in Comet for keeping a connection open

RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 run error "fixme:ntdll:RtlNtStatus.."
I've been playing with wine for the past 2 days - recently upgraded to the latest stable release (1.2.2) and I'm not able to run RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 on Mac OSX 10.6.6. I have a digital copy that installs great, but when I go to run the game, I get an error (and only 1 error): fixme:ntdll:RtlNtStatusToDosErrorNoTeb no mapping for 00000005 I installed using both MacPorts and via a

fixme:ntdll:RtlNtStatusToDosErrorNoTeb no mapping for c0000119
. After installing Pagemaker 6 via 'wine' on Mandriva 2006 and, except for a few glitches, it seems to work fairly well; however, when I start it up from the command line, I get a *very* long list (literally hundreds) of repetitions of this same error message: fixme:ntdll:RtlNtStatusToDosErrorNoTeb no mapping for c0000119 There are a number of other error messages, but what corrective

Armageddon
I''m just wondering what happened to Armageddon and whether people had any more information/news about it. I''ve thought about comet but I think that a flash socket would be easier to implement. Does Armageddon have the same drawbacks as other flash sockets, namely not working over port 80 (so the companies firewall blocks it)? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Tip: using icecast in chroot mode may break timestamp in access.log
Hi all, Just thought I'd share this little bit of information. If you're running Icecast in a chroot jail the timestamps in the access.log file will almost certainly be in UTC times. If you want local timezone timestamps you need to make sure the file /etc/localtime is in <chrootdir>/etc/localtime. If you use a different timezone settings (generated using tzselect for example).

asterisk@home basic
Apologies for asking something that must have been asked many times. I'm running *@home v0.4 and can't get the * time to be local GMT. Tried tzselect etc etc and added ntp server addresses to ntp.conf, * still uses system time of EST so call logs are 5 hours behind. Also, e-mail notifications of vm don't appear to be getting sent, I've set voicemail.conf to include a valid

Trying to learn Wine and command lines
Hi, I'm new to Wine and command lines in general and I'm trying to learn how to use it. To start I installed the demo for Armageddon Empires (a seriously awesome game, check it out) and now I'm trying to run it. When I'm in my Wine program files I can see a folder called Cryptic Comet (makers of Armageddon Empires) but when I try to cd or any other command to get to the Cryptic

Wine on Windows 7... Anyone actually tried?
Oi. So. Now we have a version of windows that actually has legit uses for wine. Windows 7 can't run horrifyingly outdated 16bit programs(Such as Exile Escape from the Pit) period. Atleast so Ive herd--and tried and seen to seem to be true. Not to mention a multitude of programs that SHOULD run--but just dont like it(Worms Armageddon, for one... though dunno if it works on wine) Also.
