Issues with p2v & virt-v2v Windows
It looks to me that the windows 2008 image I am attempting to convert is not being detected as windows but is being updated as a Linux system. Unable to convert vm
I am unable to convert a vm using virt-v2v. From the trace and debug logs I am unable to understand the cause of the problem. I assume it is a permission or configuration issue but I don't know where to start looking. I'm trying to use virt-sysprep on an Ubuntu 13.10 vm running on OpenStack. Hi Rich Kindly ignore my previos mail. I have downloaded the latest version of supermin supermin-5.1.8 and have compiled it for powerpc.Moreover there was no need to patch the src/ kernel.ml file as the changes were already implemented on the latest version. But still when i run libguestfs-test-tool on powerpc ubuntu,I get the below logs.. libguestfs-test-tool

Libguestfs hangs after issuing a launch command
Hi, I am using libguestfs 1.12.0 and I am facing a problem with it . I am using guestfs python bindings to "launch" a vdi image file . It works fine except immediately after a VM is stopped(which uses the same vdi file) i.e in normal conditions launch command works but when a vm (which uses the same vdi file) is started - stopped , a call to "launch" command hangs the

Why does the toplevel Makefile process appliance/, and creates supermin.d during make install, whith configure --disable-appliance? I have to double check what actually happens, it seems it causes startup failures if the resulting binary packages are started on a host that happens to have supermin installed. Olaf

[PATCH 1/2] kernel: refactor build_kernel & find_kernel
Move the handling of the SUPERMIN_* envvars, and the kernel copy/symlink out of find_kernel to build_kernel: this way find_kernel does only the search. Also, the modules path search is done in by find_kernel as well.
