I use a CentOS5.8 server with KVM. I have several virtual machines running on it. When I reboot the server (takes 10 minutes) all VMs are saved and correctly restored. The time on the clients is however of by 10 minutes. nptd is running on the clients and that is able to correct this big mismatch. I've also had a few Xen systems grub entry issues. I'm not yet sure what triggers the events, but I do think there *may* be a correlation to the "/boot" part. I've found the Xen servers that have "/boot" before any of the the lines like "/boot/xen.gz" ended up missing complete grub entries. Not sure it's 100% true. Anyone else comment? Thanks PJ On

This must be documented somewhare but I checked the Xen 3.0 manual and the word "clock" doesn''t even exist in it. I checked the FAQ as well. I am running Xen 3.0.1 and an AMD64 CPU. When I apply the full test, incorporating drift and trend terms, the regressor estimate of the drift term is not significantly different from zero. So I apply the test to a model without drift term, with deterministic trend only. But then I always get the following error:
