What happened to the mirrors?
Hi all, what happened to the mirrors? Many of them are outdated and older than 2days. They are missing the latest updates from yesterday and the day before yesterday. According to http://mirror-status.centos.org a whopping number of 227 mirrors are currently out of date. This is the major part of all European mirrors. :( Can someone please have a closer look at this? Thanks a lot and regards

Fencing a Dell T110 II
I think I know the answer to this question based on all of the research I've done, but figured I'd ask anyway. I needed a couple of servers for an HA cluster, and our "order" guy here ordered me a couple of Dell PowerEdge T110 II. I'd planned on using IPMI to fence these things with, but later found out that this model is only one of two PE servers Dell sells that has a

identd on "clients"
Hi, I use shorewall on my router (internal ip: 192.168.1.4). The router is used as a gateway for my lan. If I try to access an IRC server from any "client" (for exaples 192.168.1.1) I get the message "no identd". I tried the following in my shorewall rules config (etc/shorewall/rules), but i doesn''t work: ACCEPT net loc tcp 113

[LLVMdev] [Patch] Let MC/ELF generate Thumb/Thumb-2 are properly
Hi, We are trying to use clang as a drop-in replacement for the gcc come with Android NDK. I found that MC/ELF doesn't not handle Thumb functions properly, e.g., bit 0 of the function name in the .symtab is not set to 1, and some thumb instructions are not generated correctly, e.g., the addresses for tBL/tBLX are not calculated right. With that attached patch, we can compile and run some

Hi Koan, Have you tried to run Intel and other platform tests? I feel uncomfortable with so many changes in generic MC/ELF regarding specific ARM support... not to mention the magic variables on shifts... ;)

Changing default nic and storage types
Hi, Simple question that I can't track down any notable discussion about, let alone an answer... Is it possible to define what the "default" nic and storage types are? I am deploying images out of cobbler using koan and all of them are running virtio wherever applicable, but this is not the default, and at present there is no way within koan or cobbler to define what type of

Ghost DNS Entry (WERR_DNS_ERROR_RECORD_ALREADY_EXISTS)
Hallo, I'm using Samba 4 AD in production now for more than a half year. All works great since today. Today I was unable to access my network printer by its hostname. So I looked up his DNS Entry using the Windows DNS-Manager and recognized that the DNS entry for the printer is missing. I tried to readd it, but got the error message that the entry already exists. Next I tried to remove an

[LLVMdev] [Patch] Let MC/ELF generate Thumb/Thumb-2 are properly
Hi Koan, In general, this looks OK to me. Please split the patch into separate pieces, one for each issue you're addressing, though. From your description, it sounds like this should be 4 patches. That way we have a cleaner revision history in svn. -Jim On May 12, 2011, at 10:42 PM, Koan-Sin Tan wrote: > Hi, > > We are trying to use clang as a drop-in replacement for the gcc come

Way for a VM to reboot from a snapshot?

Devise auth based on ssl keys
Hi, guys. I already have a rails 3.1.2 and ruby 1.9.3 vast app with an auth based on devise. Now I want to add to the my app a ssl key based auth. As web-server it uses thin and nginx as proxy. I have made only ssl on the nginx at 443 and only for some app pathes (e.g. /articles, /search etc). How I can tell to the my app and devise use the ssl keys and assign them to the app users (link
