The default is to install to /home/CURRENT_USER/.wine so I'm wondering, as long as the LINUX users are in the same group, can I relocate the .wine dir to say, /home/share/.wine and update the wineconfig? I read somewhere that in order for a program to work properly in Wine it should be installed in a clean enviroment, something along the lines of one software conflicting with anothers drivers/runtime/apps/etc. Is this true? Does this mean that I can only have one program installed with Wine at a time? Can one not create several 'fresh enviroments'?

Can someone tell me why, despite using a completely clean tree, I keep getting this on a Wine64 build? Code: wine client error:0: version mismatch 432/431.
