vfs_shadow_copy2 woes / WITH logs
Hi,
finally everything is working fine on my Samba 4.6 AD Domain member
server after _exactly_ following
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_a_Share_Using_Windows_ACLs
(no more fiddling with acl_xattr:ignore system acls = yes, thanks
Rowland Penny).
Next thing i wanted to try is vfs_shadow_copy2 (with LVM snapshots:

Samba 4.1.0 & ACL performance problem?
Hello all,
I've encountered a performance problem and cannot find a solution to
this. My searches in the archives or on google does not bring a light to
me, so I would like to ask you, what I am doing wrong or what I missed.
The problem arises running on samba-4.1.0 compiled from source under
Ubuntu Lucid with kernel version 2.6.32-38.
I want to copy a million of small files (mostly under

Folders in Share Grayed Out on Mac
I thought this would be something I could easily find on Google, but all the hits seem unrelated to this issue.
Short version: Linux file server with Samba on it. On a Mac, when reading a subfolder in that share, one folder is grayed out and inaccessible.
Full version: On the Linux server, I have a share set up at /share01/Library/Video. I had a lot of files to copy over onto that hard drive,

virt-v2v: Died at /usr/bin/virt-p2v-server line 411
Hi,
In a oVirt 3.4.4 environnement, and using a
virt-p2v-0.9.1-2.20130730.1.el6.centos, I'm trying to convert a windows
2003 server 32 bits into an oVirt KVM image.
I already succeed doing that many times, but now, this is failing :
- All the usual process sounds good :
PXE -> DHCP -> connection to the P2V server -> choosing the profile
-> (checking the debug option) ->

Quota errors
Hi,
On our 2-nodes cluster (ubuntu server 12.04 LTS, 64bits 3.2.0-24-generic
kernel, ocfs2 1.6.3-4ubuntu1 package), things seem to run nicely.
But /var/log/kern.log on both nodes is constantly showing the errors below :

callbacks suppressed
