Allthough, I'm relative new to Asterisk, I got our server up and Running, Softphones, ISDN, and a brand new Snom 821 are working flawlessly. :) Platform is Debian 8/Asterisk Packages (11) from Debian Repo. nmblookup - windows 7 does not respond
Hello. Laptop with windows 7 pro 32 bits (192.168.130.66) does not respond to nmblookup. But from the Laptop with windows 7 (192.168.130.66), using explorer.exe I can browse the content of the public ressource on the serveur //serveur-linux/publique I have update the windows 7 registry but it does not help. not able to log on (PDC with ldap backend)
Hello, I set up my first PDC with LDAP as backend. I'm able to join a vista client to the domain. However, when want to log onto after rebooting the client, it claims that the logon server is n/a. Weird Samba issues
I manage a Samba server that has been working nicely for a couple of months (after it replace the old Samba server which worked happily for years). We use LDAP for accounts, but don't use domain logons or anything fancy. All users have their home dir on Samba mapped to drive 'M:'. allow samba domain group RDP access
I want to allow RDP connections to a Win2008 server which is joined to a samba domain. I've added a samba group that my user is a part of to the Remote Desktop Users members, but it doesnt seem to work. Still says to log on to this computer you must be granted the allow log on through terminal services right. If i specifically add the samba user to the Remote Desktop Users group i get

Open more then one connection with RDP client
I'm using CentOS 6.5 and have one connection open to a system in my student doing a software install. I set up a second RDP connection (Applications -> Internet -> Terminal Server Client), but when I double click on it, it will not run. Is there a way to have more than one running? -wes
