SID_TO_UID not working
Hello everyone,
I use winbind against a Samba DC for nsswich, and on one client it works
perfectly (Samba 3.5.15 on all systems). On another client, everything works
except SID_TO_UID (i.e. wbinfo -i, -S ... which breaks directory listings,
too). I've now tried to narrow down the problem in a level 10 log, but I need
some help interpreting. In log.winbindd, I see the following when

samba+AD problem
Hi,
I have a samba server as ADS domain membership with Kerberos
authentication against a Windows 2000 Server.
All run ok, all users can access into the share folders and roaming
profiles write your profile into the share profiles. But when I create a
new users in the Active Directory, these do not have access to the share
folders of the samba server. The logs show:

ACL's. One server are into ADS domain, but the others server are into
others domains. I use robocopy.exe to migrate files and folders. When I

Alguna otra
sugerencia? Gracias! --JIV

Hola Jorge,
En Windows hay un equivalente al "cron":
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/132971/what-is-the-windows-version-of-cron
solución que has planteado.

replication fails and corrupts index with zlib enabled
Hi, I have two Debian Jessie servers with Dovecot 2.2.13 TCP replication
on that have worked fine for years, but now one of them is running low
on disk space, so I wanted to try enabling zlib.
I crafted a script following the description given in
https://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/Zlib and xz'ed some inboxes on the
stand-by server, the one with low disk space. So every email in those
inboxes

What do you see in the logs?
My guess is that someone is trying a brute force auth against you,

BeOS diffs
HI,
how do I get mods applied to Vorbis, I'm not a
cvs guru and I don't know much about configure scripts.
BeOS has this little quirk of being 99% POSIX compliant so these
mods are required for vorbis to compile.
To define int64_t in codec.h

now in bufaux.[c,h]

nss_winbind problem
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Well,
I think this is not the only time you guys ever seen that kind of mails.
First of all, I did checked all that is to be checked before writing to
list. wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g work flawless. Also wbinfo -a, so I can
authenticate without problems.
The setup is a normal trust setup where domain X (my domain) trusts
domain Y (another company).
