[obnox@samba.org: 3.6:idmap:Q2: get rid of (all/most) idmap alloc parameters for idmap_ldap ?]
Hi Samba Users, I forgot to send this mail to the samba ML, too. The question is whether anyone is using the idmap alloc config options for idmap_ldap. I would like to remove them for Samba 3.6. Details below. Thanks - Michael ----- Forwarded message from Michael Adam <obnox at samba.org> ----- Date: Wed, 10 Nov 2010 11:19:56 +0100 From: Michael Adam <obnox at samba.org> To:

Can we update idmap documentation for 3.6?
Just when I thought I had idmap changes correct for 3.6, I realize I have a setup that's not quite right: getent passwd ->No AD users getent passwd DOMAINA\\aduser aduser:*:1001601:1000513::/home/aduser:/bin/bash Shouldn't "getent passwd" show both local and AD users? Samba has had such an identity crisis over the years with idmap documentation. Depending, on where you

x, y for point of intersection
Hi everyone, ? I am trying to get a point of intersection between a polyline and a straight line ?.. and get the x and y coordinates of this point. For exemplification consider this: ? ? set.seed(123) ? k1 <-rnorm(100, mean=1.77, sd=3.33) ?k1 <- sort(k1) q1 <- rnorm(100, mean=2.37, sd=0.74) q1 <- sort(q1, decreasing = TRUE) plot(k1, q1, xlim <- c((min(k1)-5),

Hello, I have a 3 server asterisk configuration where one asterisk (say A) (v 1.4.25) has a digiuim card connected to E1 from which calls are routed to another asterisk server (B) (1.6.0.9) over SIP trunk from which calls get routed to third server (C) (1.6.0.9) via IAX trunk. SIP clients are connected to third server. A is the PSTN termination server, B runs the menu and AGI and C is where SIP

update win FAQ q1?
Hi, on http://cran.at.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/rw-FAQ.html#Where-can-I-find-the-latest-version_003f it says: ... The current release is distributed as an installer `R-2.6.1-win32.exe' of about 30Mb. ... however I find this file as well: http://cran.at.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/R-2.6.2-win32.exe I guess that in the FAQ it should read as 2.6.2 Have a nice holiday, Thomas

boxplot knowing Q1, Q3, median, upper and lower whisker value
Dear list, I am using a external program that outputs Q1, Q3, median, upper and lower whisker values for various datasets simultaneously in a tab delimited format. After importing this text file into R, I would like to plot a boxplot using these given values and not the original series of data points, i.e. not using something like boxplot(mydata). Is there an easy way for doing this? If I am not

Intersection of two chromosomal ranges
Hi, I want to merge multiple chromosomal regions based on their common intersecting regions. I tried couple of things using while and if loops but did not work out. I would appreciate if anyone could provide me a small piece of code in R to get the intersection of following example: chr1: 100-150 chr1: 79-250 chr1: 100-175 chr1: 300-350 I want the intersection of all four regions as follow:

Function for multiple t tests
Hi, I want to run t.test() for several variables among two groups, and I would like to skip the tedious process of collecting information to assemble a table, but I am not sure if the function I want already exists. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I have a working example, as required by the posting guide: my_swiss = swiss[-1,] my_swiss$facto = rep(1:2,nrow(my_swiss)/2)
