Hello, in our two hospitals, with 700 PCs and 1200 Users, all our fileservers are samba 3. We don't have AD, but we have a domain based on openLDAP and samba. We have to change to AD. Is samba4 stable enought to implement it, maybe in a samba3 fileserver / samba4 AD combination ? Can we expect to get some support from the experts in this group ? Dear all, to your notice:Samba 4.1 pulled from git will not compile under CentOs 6.4 if Glusterfs 3.4 is installed from epel-repo. Make will die with an error concerning "vfs modul glusterfs". Do I need to create groups and users to that situation too? But when I add private share, I create local users (add user) and samba user, but when I type user and password Samba answer that I don't have permission too.I think the problem

Have a 2003 server located outside of the Domain network over a VPN. The server originally existed inside the network (10.1.1.0/24) but now exists on 10.10.12.0/24. I can access shares over the VPN to the domain controller, but when I try to log in as a domain user it says the domain is unavailable.
