[CentOS 6] Upgrade to the glusterfs version in base or in glusterfs-epel
Hi,
I'm using glusterfs version 3.4.0 from gluster-epel[1].
Recently, I find out that there's a glusterfs version in base repo
(3.4.0.36rhs).
So, is it recommend to use that version instead of gluster-epel version?
If yes, is there a guide to make the switch with no downtime?
When run yum update glusterfs, I got the following error[2].
I found a guide[3]:

Debian Lenny: Samba PDC + LDAP
Hey out there.
I have to get my PDC to work now, and I'm so close to desperation that I
have taken my self in looking at a windows server.
My problem is that I have to get roaming profile for some Windows XP Pro
clients to work, and I have a Debian based server solution.
The problem is that I can't see where I do something rung...
When I run "smbldap-useradd -w testing$" it

"You do not have permission to change" password issue with XP clients
Greetings all
I'm running Samba 3.0 on an Ubuntu box as a PDC and I'm having trouble changing
passwords with XP clients - here's my smb.conf http://pastebin.com/m1bb6d4a6
I've played with a variety of "passwd chat" settings but no joy. I am trying to
use pam_cracklib.so - here's my /etc/pam.d/common-password file:

Slow login to Samba PDC from windows XP
Hi All,
I've narrowed this down to the "preparing networks" part of the windows
login. I've setup a bridged machine to sit in between the Windows XP box
and the network and filtered on only the Windows XP's IP.

Samba4. Unable to join to client machines.
Hi!
First poster ahoy, be gentle with me. I've been fiddling around with
Samba4, using the (pretty nifty) howto at wiki.samba.org. I've followed
it through and provisioned the active directory, I've run all the tests
and everything seems good. Kerberos responds as it should, dynamic DNS
seems to be doing its thing (nothing untoward shows up with
samba_dnsupdate --verbose) and

smbldap and samba as a PDC
Hi people, I have a problem with samba, openldap and the creation of machine
accounts.
I don't know if here is a good place to ask but I don't receive help in
other places.. I read many guides, howto's, etc. but
I can't get around with the solution...
I have seen an older message to another list (mail.gna.org) asking for the
same problem that I have, it was:

Fw: Cannot Authenticate via LDAP
Hello Christian,
I tried what you suggested by adding "REFERALS off"
to /etc/ldap/ldap.conf and restarting slapd and dovecot, but the error
persists.

2000 and XP cannot join PDC, (but NT can)
I'm running Samba 2.2.3a-12, on Debian 3.0r0, kernel: 2.2.20.
I am trying to get my machines to join the domain, but alas nothing has
worked so far. My XP and 2000 machine give different errors (but upon
changing the Domain name to something other than the set one a different
error appears). 2000 and XP asks for a user/pass that has permission on
joining the domain. Which account is it? I

XP-machines cannot join Samba PDC with tdbsam
High there ...
I cannot join my Samba PDC any longer with my XP-machines, I mean I'm
not be able to create new machine accounts.
The existing machine-accounts in the tdb-database works properly, all
the existing XP-machines are joined without any problems. Only it isn't
possible to joint the Samba PCD with new machines...

Echo and static on PRI with errors.
Hi there,
I'm having some fairly serious asterisk problems, which seem to be spread
quite liberally across all asterisk versions, I've tried 1.4.2, 1.6.0.10,
1.6.2beta4 and still had exactly the same problem with static and echo on
the line when using the PRI interface.

dovecot as lda : nothing happens
Hi,
On debian lenny, I try to configure my setup (with Postfix virtual
domains) to use dovecot as lda.
I adjusted my settings to postfix and dovecot, but nothing happens...
The dovecot.log is always empty and nothing seems to change, as if it
had no effect.
Here are my changes, if someone sees what would be problematic ...
Thanks
Denis

I'm trying to get Super MNC running under Wine with Steam, I can start
the game up perfectly fine and join training matches with other
players, but I can't join a non-training match, when I try to it puts
me in a queue which I never leave. Here's the ouput which includes
Steam's output also: http://pastebin.com/LDTEgbZz

Not working with Windows clients where "Digitally sign communications (always)" is enabled
Samba version: 4.7.6
OS: Ubuntu 18.04.1 server
Client: Windows 7 SP1 (Traditional Chinese)
Problem:
Normally, a client can connect to [homes] share on server.
(I type \\serverIP\my_user_name and press enter,
the username/password dialog pops up,
I input those of my Ubuntu user,
and the contents of my home dir on the server reveal.)
But when Win7 is configured with this setting enabled,

Linux hosts with a kerberos/sssd/ldap configuration which uses
attributes from AD, but are not joined to domain.

Hi Rowland
I deleted the "domain" line from /etc/resolv.conf.
Sorry I didn't quite understand what you really meant about the last

The last line in "/etc/hosts"

Samba machine does not get its IP from DHCP so I did not remove that line.

Copy them to a pastebin and post the link to the pastebin. Pastebin is
ideal for log files, source code, and other text data
