Hi, I googled around and the general wisdom seems to be that oplocks provide a performance gain if files are accessed by a single client at a time (that is, if the oplock does not break). What I can't figure out is what test can show this performance gain. I mean, theoretically, document-editing applications (Word,excel) save and load whole files and hence do not benefit from oplocks.

Hi, When samba is joined to a 2k3 domain, UPN authentication does not work. It works using smbclient, but not from a workstation that is not part of the domain. I can reproduce this easily and provide logs and tcpdump's if necessary. The same problem does not occur when samba is joined to 2k8 or 2k12 domains. Is this by design? Hello Yesterday, i brought linksys PAP2 and have success with that. The only thing that does not go well is the music on hold. When i press 'hold' button from the telephone set instead of playing the music on hold that i have setup in Asterisk, Telephone Set plays its own MOH. Is there any way to tackle this issue.
