I have not reinstalled all Samba 4, but when it's doing, I'll gives new!

Synchronisation using LDAP
Hello All,
I am trying to set up a sync between google apps professional and samba4, we
are currently in the fase to use samba4 instead of our current windows 2008

I am using the alpha12. Whenever I try to connect, I recieve no such

Please advise on how to connect properly.

Caller based routing
Hello,
Can someone explain me how to do caller based routing.
Here is my example.
I have an asterisk between a PBX and the PSTN. The second company get
the same, and so, I can interconnect them by VoIP. Classic architecture.
My problem is when I want to place fax.
The calls between the 2 sites are in gsm codec. So the fax doesn?t work!
Is there any possibilities to do caller based routing in

printer "Advanced tab" grayed
Hello,
I would like to upload windows printer driver to my Samba through the
printer "Advanced tab" as described in that doc
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-Guide/happy.html#id2582657
but this tab is totally grayed. I can imagine it's a permission issue
but I'm not sure at all.
Any idea,
Frederic

[PATCH] nv50_disp_chan_mthd: ensure mthd is not NULL
Pointer to structure array is assumed not NULL by default. It has
the consequence to raise a kernel panic when it's not the case.
Basically, running at least a RTX2080TI on Xen makes a bad mmio error
which causes having 'mthd' pointer to be NULL in 'channv50.c'. From the
code, it's assumed to be not NULL by accessing directly 'mthd->data[0]'
which is the reason

[PATCH] nv50_disp_chan_mthd: ensure mthd is not NULL
Hi Fr?d?ric,
It appears Ben made his own version of this patch (probably based on
the one you added to the kernel bz), and it's already upstream:

ldapsearch against Samba4 AD questions
Hi all,
I'd like to perform some ldapsearch against my AD domain.
And I'd like to be able to perform these ldapsearch using GSSAPI to avoid
usage of password in scripts.
DC are using default configuration file:

Re : Permission denied
Hello Timo,
I'm using linux Fedora Core 2.
The permissions are :
drwxrwxrwt 2 root mail 32 2004-06-16 04:45 /var/spool/mail/
These permissions are made buy the command chmod a+rwxt /var/spool/mail.
So if someone wants to erase the /var/spool/mail directory, it's possible
unfortunately.
If there are theses permissions the user can receive his mails but it's

Install and run Wine purely in/from the home folder
Hello folks.
I have a little question for you.
First to the background. I have a windows program (command line based) that is able to run just fine in the wine environment.
Now I want to run it on our linux HPC server (no multi-threading and so on is needed). There is no wine installed by default, and as I'm no admin I can't install it there. So is it possible to make wine run purely

Canberra distance
Hi,
I misunderstand the definition of Canberra distance in R.
On Internet and in function description pages of dist() from stats and
Dist() from amap, Canberra distance between vectors x and y, d(x,y), is :
d(x,y) = sum(abs(x-y)/(x+y))
But in use, through simple examples, we find that the formula is :
d(x,y) = (NZ + 1)/NZ * sum(abs(x-y)/(x+y))
with NZ = nb of pairs of coordinates that are

cdr-csv / Zaptel BRI / full number not stored (missing leading zeroes)
Hi,
I'm using a ZaptelBRI card. It works fine.
But I have a small problem with call logs.
The leading zeroes of the external calling party are not stored (e.g. : 0140302010 will be stored as 140302010).
Same for international numbers for which "00" will be stripped out.
I would not mind if the cdr record would give me an indication of the call's origin (national or
