[LLVMdev] Infinite loop in llc on ARMv7 (LLVM HEAD from June 17)
Hello, it looks like I do have infinite loop in llc on linux/armv7 platform somewhere in llvm::SmallVectorImpl. Two backtraces obtained with 10 seconds delay are: 0x0099be14 in llvm::SmallVectorTemplateCommon<llvm::SDNode*>::setEnd (this=0x7ee90b38, P=0x5c06988) at /export/home/karel/vcs/llvm-head/include/llvm/ADT/SmallVector.h:103 103 void setEnd(T *P) { this->EndX = P; }

Outlook calendar roadblock
Hello All, Summary Problem: I need to automatically import a VCS file into our company''s public outlook calendar. The vcs file is being generated through a user-form in my ruby on rails application. Details of my problem: I am developing a program for the company I work for, it would only be used in house. It is basically a front-end for the company''s scheduling software.

[LLVMdev] moving to svn?
Hi Chris, > 2. The main deficiencies of CVS don't impact us much (we aren't > hampered by lack of atomic commits, renames, and better branch > facilities). If people would like to see the logical `patch set' that made up a CVS commit then cvsps may be useful, or, as others have said, use Tailor to convert to a local repos. in your preferred format.

[LLVMdev] Failure building llvm/clang from source using binary clang package on Fedora 17
On Fedora 17 I have installed a the binary clang package clang3.0-14. When I tried to build the latest llvm/clang from source using this binary clang I get essentially two different errors: 1) In file included from /home/fceldiener/vcs/llvm/include/llvm/Support/SwapByteOrder.h:20: /usr/bin/../lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/4.7.2/../../../../include/c++/4.7.2/limits:1404:27: error: use of

revision control on maildir possible?
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to put a dovecot managed maildir under a vcs like system, for example git or bzr. I'd like to have a seamless history of all mail going in and out of my mailboxes, so a vcs like system seams a good choice for me. I'm not quite sure however if that would cause any problems to dovecot and what the best way of handling commits would be. If anyone on the

Bus factor of dovecot / GIT
Hi, somebody from the kolab groupware project recently explained me that the Bus- Factor[1] of around 1 would be one of their primary reasons not to use Dovecot and stick with Cyrus. What do you think about that? Is the bus factor much higher then 1? [1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bus_factor Somehow related: Since the free software world[2] slowly converges towards GIT as the "one and

[LLVMdev] ARM support status (GHC/ARM new calling convention)
Hello, I'm working on implementing GHC specific call convention into LLVM 2.9. I've chosen LLVM 2.9 as a kind of stable reference point and I would like to know how mature is ARM code generation chain inside this release. I've had a hope that perhaps Apple as a main sponsor of LLVM is using LLVM for their ARM based iOS software development, but I'm not sure if I'm right

Unknown versions in git.
The Arch Linux vcs packaging guidelines used to recommend shallow cloning of git packages, as apparently this was said to save bandwidth for the repo server. Now Pacman is doing the cloning automatically based on the vcs URL in the sources array, so the checkout function is no longer needed, and versioning is now done via a pkgver() function that in the case of git, uses git describe --long if the
