Hi, i have a 2node ctdb-samba-cluster on debian squeeze-machines. Samba: 3.5.6 Ctdb: 1.0.112-12-1 Filesystem: glusterfs Sometimes i have the problem that some Office-Files are locked for other MS-Office-Users. If i try to access those locked files using linux(mount cifs and open it with openoffice) i can open it. I am not 100% sure, but it seems that i can open those files with office2003 too.

Hello, Eversince I upgraded Samba to 2.0 version I've gotten so many calls from the users regarding Excel 'save as HTML' problem. What seems to be happening is that the users cannot save their Excel spreadsheet as html file when they were able to with the previous Samba version we had installed (Samba 1.9.18p10). Hi, I used simple linear regression with the R software and EXCEL on the same data. Although , I find the same R2=0.84, I find different estimated values (intercept and slope). For the R software (slope =0.0009, Intercept = -0.1478), for EXCEL (slope =927.7, Intercept = 154,41). When I use the estimated values from the R software, the results seem bad, however the results of Exel seem correct.

All, The system is FC2 with wine 20050211 installed. The win environment is a native win98 partition. A boot of the native partition runs excel 97 w/o issue. Attempts to run excel under wine result in the excel splash screen being locked in the forground window and no access to exel. The only way out is to kill all wine pids.
