./smbpasswd: symbol lookup error: ./smbpasswd: undefined symbol: _talloc_get_type_abort
Hi folks :-)
I compiled samba (latest stable v3.4.3) on my debian stable, everything seems
ok but when I try to add new samba user ./smbpasswd:
./smbpasswd: symbol lookup error: ./smbpasswd: undefined symbol:
_talloc_get_type_abort
I already checked useful libreries but I don't understand this problem.
what can I do?
(samba pre-compiled packages on debian are some grave bugs)
thanks

With this combination I could reduce build-time down from approx. 3h
down to 01h20m.
$ egrep -i 'jobs|ninja' llvm-build/CMakeCache.txt
//Program used to build from build.ninja files.
CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM:FILEPATH=/opt/cmake/bin/ninja

On linux (not Windows) I doubt using Ninja vs make will make drastic
differences.. (Others with actual numbers please chime in to correct
me)

I think the difference could be more beneficial if you're doing

For faster builds and rebuilds you should definitely read:

https://blogs.s-osg.org/a-conclusion-to-accelerating-your-build-with-clang/
Hope this helps!

Hey Chris,
Sedat was asking for a way to "to speedup my build" and those blog posts
were really helpful to me.
Anyway LLVM_DISTRIBUTION_COMPONENTS sounds very cool, hope you will push
your code soon!

Asterisk 1.4.11, res_features.so, SegFault
Hi All,
I have a really strange issue occuring where if I run "show dialplan" or
"dialplan show" or "dialplan show parkedcalls", then asterisk dumps core.
It only appears to happen with contexts that are created within
res_features. I am able to display all my other dialplans, but, every
time I try to just do a normal "dialplan show" asterisk core dumps

Where can I get Icecast 2.0?
I have Icecast 1.3.11 working just fine. Now I want to try to migrate
to the Ogg Vorbis thing, for purposes of static file streaming.
With 1.3.11 as a default install on RedHat 7.1, would I install v2.0
as a new product or overlay / delete the v1.3.11 install?
Thanks

Registering Windows 2012 impossible into samba4 after migration
hello,
We've just migrated our samba PDC v3.4.5 (FreeBSD) to samba v4.1.17
(Debian wheezy) with samba4 classic upgrade. Most of the stations
works fine.
When I try to register a Windows 2012 as a member into the new Samba
AD, Windows 2012 says it cannot authenticate the user used for
registering the new host into the domain. Of course, this user have
admin privileges into the AD target

Icecast 1.3.11 drops clients?
Hi all-
I have a 850 mhz Redhat 6.1 server running IceCast v1.3.11, and I'm using
Winamp (also tried Sonique) on a 450 mhz win 98 box and connecting via 100
mbps switched LAN.
I will periodically get dropped by the icecast server.
It's stdout display shows (in part):
-> [11/Oct/2001:13:23:13] Accepted client 13 from [205.138.214.129] on
mountpoint [/default]. 1 clients connected

AD + Double Hop + Kerberos Delegation
Hello all,
I am running v3.4.5 of Samba. Does this version support double hop kerberos
authentication? I turned the log level up to 3 and found that it is passing
only the hostname. This leads me to believe that the double hop part is not
working.
I did read that it is supposed to work in Samba4 via
http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2005-November/043912.html
but wasn't sure

Can tdbtool be installed on it's own?
Hi guys,
I have a Netgear ReadyNas that has Samba v3.4.5 installed on it. I'm having trouble accessing some tdb files and I'm wondering whether the app tdbtool can be installed on its own as it seems that Netgear have pulled it out.
I have windows domain users who get denied access for no reason and the events aren't being caught my the standard logs. Plus Netgear force the smb.conf

Building with LLVM_PARALLEL_XXX_JOBS
I had only a quick view on the blog-texts.
It might be that a CLANG generated with LTO/PGO speeds up the build.
Can you confirm this?
Can you confirm binutils-gold speed up the build?
Has LLVM an own linker?
Can be used? Speedup the build?
Yesterday night I loooked through available CMAKE/LLVM variables...

Well, you could compile from
