Adding Thierry to the conversation since he knows best about exported
buffers and attributes.

[PATCH 0/2] drm/nouveau: option for staging ioctls and new SET_TILING ioctl
This patchset proposes to introduce a "staging" module option to dynamically
enable features (mostly ioctls) that are merged but may be refined before
they are declared "stable". The second patch illustrates the use of this
staging option with the SET_TILING ioctl, which can be used to specify the
tiling options of a PRIME-imported buffer.
The staging parameter will allow us

Windows Server DHCP + UEFI recipe
A small how-to for encapsulating option 210 inside option 43 on Windows
DHCP servers would be welcome then :-)
And as far as UEFI x86 system go, one would simply have to create another
vendor class with the value PXEClient:Arch:00006

Windows Server DHCP + UEFI recipe
I've found a way to support PXE booting both UEFI and BIOS architectures
with Windows Server DHCP.
This method uses a feature introduced in WinServer 2012: DHCP policies.
First, in the the DHCP console, at the IPv4 root of the server, create a
vendor class named PXEClient (UEFI x64) with the following value:
PXEClient:Arch:00007
Then create your configuration for your BIOS clients in your

Winbind queries take longer than 1m30s to complete
When I say winbind query I mean from `wbinfo -u` to a simple `getent passwd SAMDOM\\user`.
When the winbind cache is small, clients that use a program in a network share of this server get
timeouts while using the program, due to the cache expiring and the query to the PDC taking too, long.
I've worked around that by setting a winbind cache time longer than the span of work hours and a cron

Windows Server DHCP + UEFI recipe
I successfully encapsulated option 210 inside 43 with Microsoft DHCP
servers. I followed the template in the PXELINUX documentation, at the
"using vendor options, handcrafted" heading.

Problems with "samba share" after return from standby/sleep with Ubuntu 8.10
I have a D-Link DNS-323 NAS Drive which I'm accessing from a desktop PC
running Ubuntu 8.10. When I first mount the DNS-323 share, everything is
hunky-dory. I can access folders and files and save them. However, when my
desktop PC has returned from standby I have problems saving files, which
manifests itself in a number of ways:
(1) If I "drag and drop" copy a file from another

Adding columns to a tibble based on a value in a different tibble
I think a simple reproducible example ("reprex") may be necessary for you
to get a useful reply. Questions with vague specifications such as yours
often result in going round and round with attempts to clarify what you
mean without a satisfactory answer. Clarification at the outset with a
reprex may save you and others a lot of frustration.
Cheers,
Bert

cattr_accessor and Thread.current prblems
Hello,
I am trying to convert three applications to multitenant, all of them have
same structure difference is only in little functions and template designs.
All of them using cattr_accessor for setting currencies and other data, and
it works perfectly
Now i added app_id as cattr_accessor to App model to use it in
default_scope to implement multi-tenancy
