There was a patch put out several months ago to make this this work once again with Samba. This setup does work very nicely in conjunction with clamav. Hello List, I posted on the K12LTSP wiki an howto on how to setup samba-vscan-clamav on a Samba file server. This maybe should be on the samba wiki, but I think it would apply to most folks here using K12LTSP, as well. It takes about 15 minutes to setup and have working. I am looking for a quick way to disable scanning of files based on file extention, Suppose I want *.pst NOT to be scanned. What would I have to enter behind 'exclude file types =' in vscan-clamav.conf (in the doc it says: wildcards not allowed, so I guess *.pst will not do the trick) Can't find examples online.. Thanks!
