I haven't tried this myself, but it looks like recent versions of OpenWRT use UCI, which seems to generate configuration files (including those for NUT) from a unified configuration syntax.

Forget about tinc. I won't work until you solve issue with your kernel. You can find tinc package in openwrt repo and install it with opkg or luci. I suggest you first run couple of tinc nodes on x86, just to understand how it works. -- brgds Max On Jan 19, 2016 7:17 PM, Yazeed Fataar <yazeedfataar at gmail.com> wrote: Any help please? Crosscompile error tinc => 1.0.11 on openwrt whiterussian 0.9
Hello! I try to maintain a couple off old Openwrt based routers. The routers run openwrt whiterussian, so it quite outdated. But it is a little dangerous to update a remote machine from whiterussian to kamikaze or backfire, this may be usefull for others. I used the openwrt whiterussian 0.9 sdk and the attached Makefile to compile all tinc versions till 1.0.11. Since 1.0.11 the compile process

Tinc and OpenWRT
Hey Saverio, I'd really like the idea of a tinc-1.1-pre package for OpenWRT. I'm currently using tinc-1.1 with an Ed25519-only network, really like the new features and CLI and want to add some OpenWRT routers into the mix. How do you plan to handle things with OpenSSL? tinc-1.1 from git should be able to compile without it (but will then only support the built-in algorithms). Depending

tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
Hi Maxim The reason I have two kernel is as follows. When I did fresh install of openwrt , i tried "opkg install tinc" . It then said "dependency required , kernel (= 3.3.8-1-" as I was on 2.6.31. I then downloaded 3.3.8-1 and did opkg install kernel. And this is how I have both...I think i just need to get a better image to start off with...Ill search and get back to you.
