My ignorance and Fuse (or glusterfs)
I have a very simple test setup of 2 servers each working as a glusterfs-server and glusterfs-client to the other in an afr capacity.
The gluster-c and gluster-s both start up with no errors and are handshaking properly..
One one server, I get the expected behaviour: I touch a file in the export dir and it magically appears in the others mount point. On the other server however, the file

I have some problems and doubts connecting two asterisk servers.
I have one asterisk (serverA), with 1 sip client registered (clientA).
I have another asterisk (sever B), with another client (clientB).
Now I want to call from client A to B and from B to A.
Searching in google i find many configuration examples. For instance:

Disk Size Issue
I am sure this is not a problem, but more of a "can we do this" question. We
are using Samba Version 2.0.6 and my problem is this:
We have one Samba server for a site, we NFS mount filesystems from various other
machines to the Samba server, we then create a directory on the Samba server and
then create links under that directory to each of the mounted filesystems we
want to share.

good solution for "automount" homes
All,
On our main file server, all our home directorys are automount
points. So /home isn't a real filesystem area, it points to a bunch of
different home areas based on the auto.direct table. Example:
/home/user1 mounts from --> /export/home1/user1
/home/user2 mounts from --> /export/home2/user2
/home/user3 mounts from --> /export/home2/user3
/home/user4 mounts from -->

Fwd: [OT] Quick XHTML job
Hi,
I have two ten-page websites that I need produced quickly. I can pay
a reasonable rate; this isn''t an attempt to lowball--the priority is
speed and quality. I have all of the Photoshop files you will need to
understand the work you will be producing.
More parameters:
- Both websites should have identical html, but different stylesheets.
(like CSS Zen Garden)
- Both websites should

jitterbuffer in pure voip (sip/iax) - what is best practice
I know, that jitterbuffer should be set at receiving side and on
outgoing call leg,
ie. if sipphone calls to asterisk and outgoing to zap chanel, I should
set jitterbuffer on zap channel (to dejjitter audio stream from sipphone)
but what about pure voip situation (i.e. iax-iax, sip-iax, skinny-iax etc.)?
I have following setup (homeworkers using sip phone connected to home
asterisk via SIP and

Intermittent connection failure
Hi,
i have sporadic connection problems with my rsync server.
I have _no_ firewall involved and there is _no_ max connections set.
rsync on the clients is started from cron via a bash script. There's
also no permission problem. rsyncd runs as daemon (is not started from
inetd).
It sometimes works, but every third or fourth rsync fails with this message:
rsync: failed to connect to

default features
Hi
We are provisioning some default features to our customers like "automated answer when outside labor time", "rerouting when Subscriber Absent", and so.
These are macro calls embedded in key points inside the dialplan.
Since not all customers need/want all features and they (the features) are
customized, I named them like [macro-feature1-ClientA],
[macro-feature4-ClientF],

ZFS+NFS+refquota: full filesystems still return EDQUOT for unlink()
We have been using ZFS for user home directories for a good while now.
When we discovered the problem with full filesystems not allowing
deletes over NFS, we became very anxious to fix this; our users fill
their quotas on a fairly regular basis, so it''s important that they
have a simple recourse to fix this (e.g., rm). I played around with
this on my OpenSolaris box at home, read around

zvol used apparently greater than volsize for sparse volume
What does it mean for the reported value of a zvol volsize to be
less than the product of used and compressratio?
For example,
# zfs get -p all home1/home1mm01
NAME PROPERTY VALUE SOURCE
home1/home1mm01 type volume -
home1/home1mm01 creation 1254440045 -
home1/home1mm01 used 14902492672

Hi everyone
I have these shares in smb.conf:
[home2]
path = /home2
read only = No
[home]

I mount [home] on a Linux client like this:

Here is the output of the mount command:

Sieve scripts replication not working
Hi all!
I am a long-time dovecot user/admin on my home server, but only recently
tried to configure replication. Everything seems to work except sieve
scripts replication. When I upload new one on the server A, it does not
replicate to server B, even if it seemingly tries to, according to debug
logs. The log antry says: Replication requested by

Still the same.
Is there any chance that the placement of my directories are causing this?
Also the exact command that fails is
