Hi,
I'm getting the following error:

Any ideas?

Samba Password Question.
Hi All - Quick question. Is there anyway that when a user first invokes
Samba to map to a network share that they are asked to change their
(samba) password.
I've got a whole bunch of (samba) users who all have been given the same
password and I want them to have to change it to one of their own choosing
upon first login.

Swat access question
Hi All,
I'm a new user to Samba and I'm just having trouble with one or two
things. I've been able to sort most of them out myself but I was wondering
how can you get full access to Swat. Obviously the root user gets all the
access requiremnts but my own unix user only gets the Samba Documentation
screen within Swat. I have tried adding my user id into admin users but

rsync and HP11.11 problem
Hi All,
I am trying to run rsync from HP11.00 machine (source) to HP11.11
machine, as test for migration plan. The data on the source is not
changing since it is snapshot of active data.
Every time we try to run the following command:
timex rsync -avuz --delete isynh09:/snap
We get the following error:

rsync 2.5.5 compilation problems
Hi,
I compiled rsync on an HPUX 11i box, and got lots of errors about
redefining sendfile() and sendpath(). The compilation succeeded, but the
binary failed. I then took a binary I had compiled on an HP11.00 box, and
it worked fine.
I tried this with both gcc & the HP ansic compilers. The same results.
I am attaching a full transcript of the configure & compilation session.

freetype bytecode interpreter
It may yet be too early to get a definite answer about this, but I'm
wondering what the status of the formerly patented bytecode interpreter
in freetype will be in RHEL/Centos 6 and possibly future updates to
RHEL/Centos 5.
The patent on the technology has apparently now expired.

R-beta: Suggestion for a very minor change to Rd.sty
Dear R gurus and users,
for some functions in some of the many packages available for R, with
the current definition of \Header given in Rd.sty, the heading bumps
into the surrounding words in documentation printed via LaTeX. To
alleviate this minor typographical mishap, I'd like to suggest the
change to R/doc/manual/Rd.sty included below as a context diff. With
this minor diff applied, the
