Bug#513842: xen-utils-common: please make pygrub available
Package: xen-utils-common Version: 3.2.0-2 Severity: wishlist Hi, It would be very useful it /usr/bin/pygrub was available -- it should be a symlink (or wrapper) that points to the real version in the Xen hypervisor. That would mean that the domain configuration for xen domains could be (relatively) static when upgrades are occuring between hypervisor versions. Thanks, Anand -- System

increased core dumps with v2.2.7
Hi, After upgrading to v2.2.7 yesterday, I am starting to get a larger number of bugs occurring -- unfortunately I hadn't configured things to save core dumps (now done). But I am seeing things like: dovecot: imap(user at example.com): Fatal: master: service(imap): child 27931 killed with signal 11 (core dumped) kernel: [151706.763475] imap[4878]: segfault at 7fff53b0aff8 ip

Samba / LDAP / Idmap
Hi, This is probably documented somewhere very obvious but I do not seem to be able to find it. Many years ago I configured my Samba server with an LDAP backend. I also put in the parameter 'ldap idmap suffix = ou=Idmap' in my smb.conf file too as per: <http://au1.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/domain- member.html#id2571568> Amazingly enough I now have to add

sync re-copies emails assigning new UIDs
Hi, I have been (attempting) to transition a company from in-house dovecot 1.x to a hosted dovecot 2.2 setup. I am running the doveadm sync command, and for the four mailboxes have been blocked -- sync'ing seem to be copying the same mails, over and over (note, initially I was using doveadm backup but my reading has indicated that 'doveadm sync' is better) Example: # date

If you guys are familiar on how the piracy groups work on the internet, you are aware that they have "releases" with their names on it. In the piracy "scene", some groups are competing on getting the first release out, and could only be beaten by another group

recycle module creates empty files (0 KB)
Hi, I have a strange behaviour when creating new files. When opening word, excel, ppt or txt to create a new document (e.g. I use the word icon on the desktop to start word) and save the file to the home share H: an empty (0 KB) file with the same name as the saved document is created in the trash folder. Why this second empty file in the trash folder? Going directly to the home share H: and

Some Basic Reading
Hi there, I'm very new here and would like to know if anyone has reccomendations on fundamental reading (other than the handbook) whick might prevent me from asking some really dumb questions (after this one of course). What I'm trying to do: I have a SOHO... very SO in fact. I would like to build a simple system with two analog lines. I do recording and can't always have a cell

Cannot add machine account
Hi, I'm running Samba as a PDC on a Debian Etch machine (3.0.24-6etch9). It's been some time (months, maybe 1 year) since I last added a new machine to the domain, but I'd need to do it today and I'm getting an error: #>pdbedit -a -m Woodstock-VMXP tdb_update_sam: struct samu (woodstock-vmxp$) with no RID! Unable to add machine! (does it already exist?) The machine does NOT
